I think this week rocks. Like totally rocks.

Thanks to the HR nonsense, I got to come home like everyday! So BOOMZ right? I think so too. Anyway, the chicken cutlet in the Air Force School Enlistee mess was super BOOMZ. The chicken was fat and juicy unlike those served in Khatib Camp Muslim Cookhouse. When i see the type of chicken being served to me everyday, i will tend to go 'SHINGZ'. OMG OMG OMG, i am catching the rislow-flu. HOW HOW I NEED A MC! xD

I am having a headache trying to decide who shall fall victim to the U-Turn next leg. And whether i should make it blind or not. Haiz. Comments please. After all, it's your race. ^^

Previously on The Amazing Race,

12 teams of 2 set out from the iconic Los Angeles River Basin on a race around the world. Before they get to leave the basin, they were thrown with a challenge. The penalty, elimination. Siblings Shelia & Erwitt, who had an eye for detail, pulled out in first place. As teams slowly left one by one, it came down to good friends Xinfang & Wanjing fighting against married parents Wahngee & Beehar. With a stroke of luck, Wanjing whipped their license to fly away from Wahngee & Beehar, ultimately sealing their fate.

The 11 remaining teams flew 8800km to Tokyo, Japan. The fiery roadblock, wasabi bombs. left teams gasping for water. Dating couple Waisin & Karhwee pulled ahead from the other teams and checked in first. Yanzhi & John's carelessness caused them to lose a tourists, but managed to recover from their loss of time, checking in seventh. Soon, it was down to cousins Yuyan & Lisa, who faced the same fate as Yanzhi & John, and twins Rachel & Baowen, who cant seem to get the wasabi bomb to land on them, fighting to avoid last place. In the end, it was Rachel & Baowen who came in last, but was a non-elimination leg.

Leg 2

Dating couples Waisin & Karhwee who were the first to arrive at 12.19pm, will depart at 12.19am.

Waisin: *rips open clue* Fly to Ho Chi Minh City.
Yixuan (voice-over): Teams must now fly to the capital of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City. When they land, teams must find this bus station and take a 2-hour bus ride to the rural village of Cai Be. Once there, teams must make their way on foot to the Ben Tau Du Lich boat docks.
Karhwee: Let's go book our flight via the internet.
Waisin: And I can go to facebook to see my Pipi!

Waisin: I liked Japan and I felt a little reluctant to leave that place.
Karhwee: Me too. The culture in nice, the people are nice. Japan rocks!
Waisin: And the sushi too~

Yixuan: All teams are on the same JAL flight to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam departing at 10.30 am.

Yuyan: BOOBOO faster! We are rarely in front of the other teams!
Lisa: I can't move through the crowds! So many people!

Felicia: *throws back at Youwei* Don't die carrying it. I still want my million dollars.

Yuyan: *rips open clue* Choose a sampan.
Yixuan (voice-over): Teams must now race across the Mekong Delta using sampans to get to the mud pits along the water. Then, working together, they must collect the nutrient-rich mud, carry it to nearby orchard, and use it to fertilise a fruit tree. Once they fully cover the tree's root system up till the designated line, the farmer would hand them the next clue.
Lisa: BOOBOO! I scared I drop into the water and sink..
Yuyan: Just wear the life jackets la booboo!

Rachel: Speedbump.
Yixuan (voice-over) Having spared elimination from the previous leg, Rachel & Baowen have to complete a Speedbump. In this speedbump, they have to find a food stand and order the ingredients for a traditional Vietnamese Soup known as pho. Then, they must combine the ingredients and serve the soup to the dock master's liking to receive their next clue.
Baowen: Ewwwww! What's phoooooooooooooo???????
Rachel: I dunno, but the faster we do, the faster we can continue racing!

Felicia: Quick, Make them go faster!
Youwei: Baby, relax. Don't fall into the water. *romantic poem*

Yixuan (voice-over): In a case of a misplaced wand, a replacement wand will be given to Priscilla & Jenyun. However, the time taken for the replacement to come will not be given back to that team.
Priscilla: Looks like we have to do the task until my wand comes.

Baowen: See, just mix all of this crap together and tadah! PHO! What is pho anyway?
Rachel: Just give it to that man and get our clue.
Yixuan (voice-over): Having completed the speedbump, Rachel & Baowen can now continue racing with hopes of making up the lost time.
Baowen: Yuck, first pho, now mud. What a horrible place.

Felicia: Wow! That was fast!

Yixuan (voice-over): A roadblock is a task where only one team member may perform. In this roadblock, that team member will have to herd ducks. Using 2 flags as a guide, that person must herd a group of 150 ducks out of their pen, across the bridge and back again, and then return them to their pen. However, if teams did not finish it in 10 minutes, they will have to relinquish their spot and wait for the next available course.
Youwei: I did the last one so this time it's you?
Felicia: I suppose so.
Youwei: *some romantic poem* You can definitely do it.

THE AMAZING RACE 3

Yixuan (the host): In a short moment, 12 teams of 2, each with a pre-existing relationship, will travel around the world for 1 million dollars.

The teams are being brought in to the starting line, the Los Angeles River Basin. This iconic location has been used in many movies such as Terminator 2. And soon, it will be the starting line of The Amazing Race. The 12 teams are:

Yuyan & Lisa, Cousins from Woodlands & Hougang, and also the 2nd runner-up for The Amazing Race 2.

Yuyan: Booboo and I lost at the final leg due to bad luck.
Lisa: And if we can reach so far with a bad start, I'm sure we can do it again. BOOBOO!
Yuyan: BOOBOO!

Timothy: When my ex-wife and I start to have cracks in our relationship, I decided to flirt with girls. Until i saw this lovely girl in front of me. And it made me stop and settle down. And i felt that it's the correct time for me to surface this underground relationship.
Siying: I hope that Timo and I can make it cross the finish line first so that we can have money to spend!

Yixuan: Which teams will start to argue due to the immense stress? Which teams will succumb to the fate of elimination? And which team will have the correct combination of brains and brawns to cross the finish line first? All these questions will soon be answered in The Amazing Race.

Leg 1

Yixuan: In a short moment, you will start racing around the world. The race is divided into 12 legs. At the end of each leg, there is a pit stop. 8 of these are elimination points. That means if you are last, you will be eliminated. If you landed last on a non-elimination, you will be spared, but on the next leg, you have to perform an additional task called the Speedbump which the other teams do not have to perform. The additional time spent might also cause you the race. When i give the signal, you will run to your bags and read your first clue. The first team to cross the finish line at the end of 12 legs will win ONE MILLION DOLLARS.

Yixuan (voice-over)Teams must now fly to Tokyo, Japan. However, to get their flight tickets, teams have to search the wall with a thousand license plates hanging on it for one of only 11 license plates from the Shinagawa District of Tokyo. The last team without a license plate will be eliminated.
Sam: Oh shit. An elimination now?

Jenyun: Fairygodmother, I want the license plate to appear now.
Priscilla: Let's go find it together!

Felicia: There are so many plates. Which is the correct one?
Youwei: *some other romantic poem* With you around my dear, I will definitely find it.

Yixuan: That's incorrect.

Shelia: Look, there's a sign here. Could it be the one we are looking for?
Erwitt: I see one over there! Let's try it!

Yixuan: That is correct. *hands over flight ticket*

Yixuan (voice-over): A roadblock is a task that only one team member may perform. In this roadblock, that team member have to take part in a Japanese Game Show called Sushi Roulette. The game show host will spin a wheel containing nine sushi rolls and two wasabi bombs. The contestant has to eat whatever that landed in front of them, but they needed to keep playing until they receive a wasabi bomb. Then, they have to finish it in two minutes to receive their next clue.

Jack, Pohchoon, Timothy, Karhwee, Erwitt, Rachel, Xinfang, Priscilla, Yuyan, Youwei and Yanzhi will be attempting the roadblock.

Yixuan (voice-over): Teams have to now use a coloured flag to lead a group of 20 Japanese tourists from the studio audience wearing the same coloured hats through the infamously crowded Shibuya Scramble Crossing to the Pitstop, the Konno Hachimangu Shrine. This peaceful shrine built in the centre of the busy city is the pitstop for this leg of the race. The last team to check in here, may be eliminated.
Karhwee: Let's go!

okay time to use my favourite orange. booking in in abt 4hrs. haiz. what a hectic weekend. mapled hardcorely, attended the 'bridge crossing' at dad's temple, mapled hardcorely, sleep, mapled hardcorely... yar you get the point xD

i seriously hate myself for making that decision. it's like binding me down from all directions right now. so what if it promises us a great future ahead? all i want is to enjoy my childhood right now. i'm like 3 months from leaving my teens :(

And finally, there is the long awaited, super appreciated, most glady welcomed EARLY RELEASE! Like oh my god, I finally have a friday to slack and 'nua' at home, and of course, BLOGGGGGG~

Come to think of it, I have been cooped up in my office facing the retarded com so much that my typing skills are like 11047219083510263598x better than before. Okay, maybe not that much of the cooping up since bryan, jason, benjamin, clement, andy, gave me the mental encouragement to keep visiting the Marvel vs Street Fighter arcade machine. Lol. I shall talk abit about bunk life. Note, it's BUNK life, not CAMP life. I seriously think the ONLY thing keeping me from staying out is my bunk. They are like the most fun people in the whole camp, probably minus those anti-recruit remarks they love to make. Anyway, TEKONG is coming closer and closer. Yes, I am going for my second shot at Survivor: Tekong. This time, I will be going back from 4th Jan 2010 to 20th Feb 2010. Yup, I will be spending my birthday, CNY, Valentine's Day, blah blah blah, in TEKONG! But i will still be expecting presents okay? :D

Last friday was a 13/o7 gathering at BUKIT PANJANG NEIGHBOURHOOD PARK 5. You must be wondering 'like where in the world is that?' It's opposite Bukit Panjang Plaza!!!
