started the prelims today. econs paper 2. didnt take gp as it clashed with grandfather's cremation and the gp department is kind enough to allow me to skip it, giving me an 'absent with valid reason' grade. i must say the questions are tricky. elasticity had to throw in price elasticity of supply. market failure no context. national income accounting asked abt multiplier. international economics had globalisation. rog came out economic growth. gg sia. but to start with i have nothing in my head.
the wake + cremation is over. i suppose my grandfather will always live in our hearts. the whole thing is tiring from sun to wed. the sons and daughters have to pick up his ashes and bones this morning. not a pleasant experience to me. this incident really showed me how fragile life can be. a pneumonia attack and poof you are gone. also this woman appeared on tues and wed. apparently, she claimed that my grandfather gave her his life. told timo and zy abt it and they said these kind of things are hard to explain. it may really happen. to get to know more, approach me for the story.

it's so sudden. sad? i guess so. somehow, i feel regretful not following them. but yixin is at home. haiz. stupid arrangements. i cant even see him for the last time. the wake's tmr till wed. guess i will be busy helping out. hope i get to squeeze out abit of time to revise econs. shit august. i hate this august.

due to the excessive sneezing ytd... my poor little wound got inflammed and the yellowish liquid and blood starts to spew out. (ok not that gross flow out only..) so went for a check up at tan tock seng hospital (TTSH) and the doc says its alright just need to rest more. and stop moving and applying pressure on it and blah blah
anyway, grandfather (maternal one) is in TTSH critical condition somemore. the adults say his time might be up. quite scary. was abit sad and scared but somehow my emotion didnt show anything. those aunts must be thinking "what a insensitive brat. no feeling for elders." in april, it was great-grandmother.. now grandfather.. what's next? I cant bear to think =(
must really treasure your life when u have it. not when u are lying on your deathbed then start regretting this and that and everything else.

After the amazing race... I have decided to come up with SURVIVOR!Here are the survivors split into 2 tribes ''SNAKES'' and ''LADDERS'':SNAKESfeliciajackkelvinrachelrenhuisiangyongsiaunsiyingwanjingyanzhiLADDERSbaowenhanweijezabeljianhongjingrenpohchoonpriscillaseelektimothyxinfanghost: zhenyangday 1zhenyang: Welcome to this season of Survivor. Hidden on the island across the lagoon are two Individual Immunity Idols, one for each tribe. The first person from each tribe to find the tribe's Idol is safe at the first visit to Tribal Council.*wild dash by contestants to the island*SNAKES:rachel takes an early lead into the lagoon but unfortunately she found herself stuck in the mud, so does 4 other members. allowing siaun to overtake her. arriving at the island, the remaining 5 members started to hunt for the idol. wanjing soon found an idol, but was shocked to see that it's the idol for the LADDERS tribe. trying her luck on the other side of the island, felicia wandered off alone. at last, the 5 stuck members got out of their sticky mess while felicia lucked out to find the individual immunity idol, providing her immunity in the first Tribal Council.LADDERS:after seeing majority of the SNAKES tribe members stuck in the mud, jingren lead the pack onto another way to the island. being a strong swimmer, seelek pulled ahead of the rest and arrived at the island first. however, her lead dissipated when the other tribe members arrived at the island. soon it is a frantic race between xinfang, jianhong and hanwei to an object being casted away by wanjing from the other tribe. being the more athletic of the 3, jianhong edged out the other 2 to obtain the individual immunity idol, providing him immunity in the first Tribal Council.zhenyang: felicia and jianhong gains immunity! now go back to your designated tribes and rest for the immunity challenge tomorrow.SNAKES:jack: congrats on your immunity.felicia: thanks.jack: i'm jack.felicia: i'm felicia.jack: wanna form an alliance? Both tribes will race to assemble four puzzle wheels and attach them to a cart, in which two of your tribe mates will ride. Pushing the cart through a series of obstacles to a finish platform, you guys will then disassemble the puzzle wheels and use them to complete a turnstile. Finally, wind the turnstile to raise a fire-wok, igniting your tribal cauldron. The first tribe to light their cauldron wins Immunity and fire in the form of flint. ON YOUR MARKS, GET SET, GO!LADDERS took an early lead with a good strategy. jezabel and hanwei, jingren and xinfang, timothy and jianhong, priscilla and pohchoon each started on a wheel while baowen and seelek waited in the cart. meanwhile, SNAKES are having problems with too many people working on the wheels. siying faltered causing a part of the wheel to roll into the sea. siaun, seeing that things are not going their way, rushed to collect the wheel piece and helped to direct the tribe mates to coordinate.LADDERS completed the attachment and is working their way to the platform. SNAKES are doing better under siaun's order. with wanjing and renhui in the cart. the 5 guys are pulling hard but we can see that the girls aren't helping much except maybe one of them. LADDERS slowing down, the girls changing over to help the guys and the propel to the platform. SNAKES continue to slow down as siying and felicia struggled to help the guys pull the cart.LADDERS disassembled the wheels and trying to form the turnstile. they are facing problems, the parts wont stay. perhaps it's the wrong side! SNAKES catching up slowly with siaun and siangyong pulling with all the might and the rest pushing as hard as they could. SNAKES disassembled the wheels and jack and wanjing started to work on the turnstile. LADDERS finish half of it but cant seem to fix in the last part. SNAKES catching up with felicia finding out the trick to put them together.LADDERS complete the turnstile and start to wind the fire-wok up. SNAKES complete the turnstile. LADDERS ignite the tribe cauldron. LADDERS WIN IMMUNITY!*ladders members cheering wildly*zhenyang: Both tribes can head back to the camp, LADDERS here is your flint. finally back from hospital!!
the facts are these:
3 days 14 hours 6 minutes and 49 seconds ago, i was admitted to Tan Tock Seng Hospital whereby my poor little appendix is surgically removed. but hor they are super inefficient.... i admit at 4am they wait till 11am then operate. in the end my appendix tio perforated and have to stay one more day. then i am on the iv drip and cannot eat for 2 days. and also there is this disgusting drainage pipe thingy sticking out of my abdomen draining out all the waste materials. so ewwwwww right. but nevertheless there are happy moments in the hopsital.
1. almost the whole 13/07 visited me with a balloon caterpillar they found in some random corner. i was really damn touched bcz i was really expecting siaun and gang to come mainly bcz prelims is just round the corner. ya. 18 of them and ms ma came. so sweet *sobs*
2. my whole family came and one of my aunts bought me TONS of chocolates and goodies. most prob bringing to school to share.
3. the uncle from bed 88 definitely entertained me from washing his urine bag to finding his key to going home to his squabbles with the nurse to his spamming the nurse call button to sitting the 'taxi' home. super LOL can.
last but not least, i really want to shout out a big THANK YOU to the nurses of Ward 11C and the attached students from NYP and ITE, not forgetting the 4 doctor consultants incharge of my case (even though they cant see)
guess what... i am appendix-less and i lost 4 kg -.-

FINALLY THE CLASS IS UNITED AGAIN! i suppose. ^^
we were super high since we got called on stage to sing the national day songs all the way until we said goodbye after camwhoring on some steps at marina square. let me list down some details:
FIRSTLY
our class is one of the 3 classes with the most songs on the list so we are like being called on stage. we are proud to announce that we are the only J2 class!!! wooo~ then we took turns to sing those songs quite malu but very fun. almost a once in a lifetime experience.
SECONDLY
we went to hold hands for the stupid Connect Singapore. then we started to get bored and played pass the rope on the shoe, some charades game, murderer, and many more! then we started to 'bomb' other classes. but overall its quite a failure due to some cock ups then hold hand nvr say pledge ><
THIRDLY
we went to SEOUL GARDEN for lunch. like finally my craving has been satisfied. it was our 2nd class gathering i think (1st was at mag's house) with almost everyone attending except chloe, sarah and mag. but abit screwed also. no seats la. money collection la. blah blah blah la. then the guys had to sit in one table (as usual). this time didnt eat alot. 3 plates of beef, 4 plates of prawns, 2 plates of chicken and other random stuff. then pris had to make this weird tasting ice kachang for me -.-
LASTLY
we went to those steps and started taking loads of photo. once i get them i will post here.
then the class peeps went mad with yixin's ds game. and all started chionging the chilli game. here are the results:
1st - xinfang - 2317 points
2nd - kahhwee - 2316 points (shocker!!)
3rd - yixuan - 2280 points
4th - siaun & felicia - 2140 points
the rest like possessed trying to beat xinfang and kahhwee's high score lol ^^
ok had a super duper fun day and going to rest now. sayonara~
