Previously on The Amazing Race, 6 teams of 2 set out from New Delhi across the town to Delhi, India. Along the way, teams were blinded bythe colours of a local festive celebration. siaun and baowen worked harmoniously with each other and came in with another strong finish. yuyan and lisa chose the correct detour and managed to sneak past the other teams. taxi problems continues to plague yanzhi and hanwei & pohchoon and priscilla. jack worked hard for their team in the Roadblock and the time gained managed to buffer them in the Speed Bump. In the end, it was a footrace between the family and the friends, resulting in yanzhi and hanwei tumbling from first to elimination. 5 teams remain, who will be eliminated next?
siaun and baowen, who were the first to arrive at 10.14 am, will depart at 10.14 pm.
siaun: give me a kiss baby. *muacks* siaun: alright, let's go. *rips open clue* Fly to Almaty, Kazakhstan and travel by taxi to the Alel Agro Chicken Factory. baowen: thank god we are out of this place.
*confessionals* siaun: baowen and i have already come in with a few strong finishes. i hope we can maintain this tempo .
yuyan: kazakhstan! lisa: huh? are there going to be terrorists there? yuyan: no la booboo!
*confessionals* lisa: team booboo have been going up and down. i hope that we wont go all the way down.
*siaun and baowen, yuyan and lisa are on the first flight to arrive in Almaty at 11.50pm*

A Roadblock is a task where only one member may perform. In this roadblock, that team member must enter the marked chicken shack and search among 30,000 chickens for 1 of only 7 golden eggs.
baowen: there's a Fast Forward!
This is the second of only 2 Fast Forwards hidden on the entire race. By performing the Fast Forward, that team can skip all tasks and proceed directly to the pit stop. However, teams may only use the Fast Forward once in the entire race, so they will have to decide when it's most advantageous to use it. In this Fast Forward, that team will have to travel to a restaurant where they will join in a traditional Kazakh feast.
baowen: it's a food task. siaun: nah, i'm too full right now. baowen: alright, i will do the roadblock.
zhenyang: fast forward, let's go. limin: okay kor.
yuyan: we cant go for the fast forward. lisa: so i will do the roadblock
wahngee: eh jack, let's try the fast forward. jack: you think we can beat zhenyang and limin? wahngee: let's try. jack: alright.
priscilla: fast forward? pohchoon: 2 teams went for it already. 1 of them will come back. let's just do the roadblock. priscilla: okay, i will do it.
*at roadblock* baowen: oh my gosh, this place is huge. *starts chasing chickens* haha it's so fun!
lisa: i sure hope i find this quickly.
priscilla: this is stupid. it's like finding a needle in a haystack. *looks down* and i think i found the needle! *1st team to complete roadblock - pohchoon and priscilla* pohchoon: oh my god, that was quick dear! priscilla: yea i know. *rips open clue* Travel by giant crane truck Koktobe Arch at the foothills of the Tienshan Mountain. Then they would have to follow a marked path to a Mongol warrior where they had to wait for their next clue to arrive.
baowen: how did she find it so fast? i shall stop playing with the stupid chickens.
lisa: this looked like it. *squints eyes* ah booboo, i found it! *2nd team to complete roadblock - yuyan and lisa*
*at fast forward* zhenyang: holy cow, that's a freaking big plate. limin: how? should we go back now? zhenyang: let's try eating slowly.
jack: they are already here. wahngee: let's get to work!
*on the road* pohchoon: let's ask for directions. excuse me sir, how to get to Koktobe Arch? passer-by: *points on map* you go here, here, here, here and you will reach. priscilla: excuse me sir, do you think we can catch your 'here, here, here, here' so quickly? passer-by: *looks irritated* *repeats instruction slowly*
yuyan: you think we should buy a map? lisa: don't need la! just ask the people around lor! yuyan: grr.. fine.
*at roadblock* baowen: ahh i found it! *3rd team to complete roadblock - siaun and baowen* siaun: let's get going!

*on the road* yuyan: i seriously don't know where we are going la! lisa: aiya, you hor! i go and ask la. *gets off truck* lisa: excuse me, sir? *gets ignored* what's wrong with him? yuyan: lisa's trying to get directions because she refused to buy a map. lisa: excuse me? *gets ignored again* what's wrong with these people here?
siaun: i think this is where we have to go *points to map* baowen: okay, let's go!
pohchoon: let's confirm our directions, i am still quite confused by that guy just now. priscilla: let's ask the police officer.
*at Koktobe Arch* *1st team to arrive at Koktobe Arch - pohchoon and priscilla* priscilla: oh there's the Mongul warrior! *eagle flies in with next clue* pohchoon: now that's an awesome sight you don't see everyday. priscilla: wa... mr mongul warrior, can i marry you now? you are so cool! pohchoon: here we go again. *slaps forehead and drags priscilla away* priscilla: don't forget me!!! pohchoon: *rips open clue* Detour. Play Like Mad or Act Like Fools.
A Detour is a choice between two tasks, each with its pros and cons. In this detour, teams will have to choose between two Kazakhstan performing arts. The choice, Play Like Mad or Act Like Fools.
In Play Like Mad, teams have to travel by taxi to the Museum of Folk Musical Instruments where they will learn to play a simple Kazakh tune using two traditional instruments, the Dombra and the Shan Koby's. When the instructor felt that they had learn the song enough, he would send the team to the park to play for tips. They would earn their next clue once they had collected the equivalent one and half dollars.
In Act Like Fools, teams have to travel by taxi to a puppet theater, find the wardrobe department, and put on a two-person cow costume. Then, dressed as a cow, they have to walk the streets of Almaty to a marked stall where they have to drink a glass of milk. After finishing the milk, they will find the name of their next destination printed on the bottom of the glass, Zelyoiny Bazaar. After travelling in costume to the bazaar, the teams have to locate a butcher stall to receive their next clue.
priscilla: we choose act like fools. it will take forever to learn those instruments. pohchoon: agreed.

jack: this is getting ridiculous. wahngee: come on we are doing fine.

*at fast forward* restaurant owner: congratulations, here is your clue. *zhenyang and limin wins Fast Forward* zhenyang: thanks. *rips open clue* Make your way to the Pit Stop, Old Square. This historical plaza in Kazakhstan was the eighth pitstop in the race around the world. The last team to check in, may be eliminated. limin: let's go!
Having won the Fast Forward, zhenyang and limin can now proceed directly to the pit stop.

*at Old Square* (you guessed it, jen is the pitstop greeter again!) jen: welcome to Almaty, Kazakhstan. limin: thank you. yixuan: zhenyang and limin, you are team number 1! zhenyang: yes! limin: what's our prize now? yixuan: as the winners of this leg of the race, you have each won a 180-horsepower waverunner which you can enjoy after the race. zhenyang: cool. limin: yay!
*confessionals* limin: winning another leg only confirmed our team's strength. zhenyang: our teamwork is unbeatable and will see us to the finish!
*another team running in* jen: welcome to Almaty, Kazakhstan. pohchoon: aw, shucks. zhenyang and limin just checked in. priscilla: we could have won them. yixuan: pohchoon and priscilla, you are team number 2. priscilla: if not for that irritating local, we could have been in first! pohchoon: never mind, at least we got out of the bottom.
*at Act Like Fools detour* lisa: i think we should check the clue. *reads clue* the destination is printed on the bottom of the glass! yuyan: oh shit. lisa: and you thought you were very clever going on blindly. yuyan: everyone makes mistakes you know. lisa: yes, and this mistake will cause us the race.

*at Old Square* jen: welcome to Almaty, Kazakhstan. baowen: thank you. yixuan: siaun and baowen, you are team number 3! baowen: yay! siaun: it was a tiring leg. but i am glad we managed to pull through.
*at Zelyoiny Bazaar* yuyan: there's the stall. lisa: this is finally over. we are so screwed. *3rd team to complete detour - yuyan and lisa* yuyan: oh yay! pitstop! i am so over with this. lisa: just eliminate us. i don't care.
*at roadblock* wahngee: i think the chances of us staying in this race is zero. but nevertheless, i won't give up. it might be a non-elimination.
*at Old Square* jen: welcome to Almaty, Kazakhstan. yuyan: just tell us we are dead. yixuan: yuyan and lisa, you are.. lisa: the last team to arrive? yixuan: team number 4! lisa: what? yuyan: you are kidding. yixuan: nope, you are still in the race. what happened back there? you two started quarrelling. yuyan: i am just stressed at the race. coming this far puts an additional load on your shoulders. lisa: and i am really feeling the fatigue taking its toll on me. yuyan: i'm sorry, i shouldn't have hollered at you. lisa: i'm sorry too, i should have worked harder for the team.
*confessionals* yuyan: this leg, lisa and i quarrelled and it nearly got us eliminated. this incident taught us to try and work better together. lisa: i think that i have really been slacking too much. i am determined to put in all my efforts now that this race is coming to a finish.

*at Old Square* *sad music playing* jen: welcome to Almaty, Kazakhstan. yixuan: jack and wahngee, you are the last team to arrive. wahngee: non-elimination? jack: come on. yixuan: i'm sorry to tell you that you have been eliminated from the race. jack: aww, shucks. wahngee: well, that's not too bad. i am getting very tired anyways. jack: it's my fault that we got eliminated. the fast forward killed us. wahngee: don't blame it on yourself, we made the decision to go for the fast forward. jack: i think the race has helped to improve our relationship and brought us together. wahngee: it definitely helped me to see what a person jack has grown up to be. and it definitely paid off for the fatigue it caused.
