Well, I booked out again. But this time it's the official one and not because my arm went flying to places it's not supposed to be in. Don't really know what to blog about.
On sat morning, the first thing that happened to me was being informed that i was OOT. Probably because of my 1month Att B, it's better for me to take a recourse after my arm is better. Life as an OOT sux, it's like waiting for the sky to fall on you. For me, i just look forward to lights out everyday. I am quite sad that i can't join in the normal training. Haiz...
I guess i shall bring in a ton of books to read while continue to serve my OOT 'sentence'. I am seriously hoping that my posting comes soon so that i won't rot in tekong doing non-meaningful stuff.

Guess what people, i have engaged myself in an activity which i thought i won't do. Yes, i am shocked too but i am too irritated by the numerous countless emails sent to my email asking me to register in facebook. Yes, i have recently started facebook-ing, and my current goal is to beat priscilla's high scores in every game possible. *evil chuckle*
So i am still figuring my way around it out of my maple-cum-dota time so if you want you can add me, if not you can buzz off like a Yanmega. Speaking of pokemon, i spent the whole day (approximately 11 hours now) to catch Giratina, Uxie and Azelf. Caught the 1st 2 alrd and now trying to catch Azelf. Dunno what's wrong with them, capture rate so freaking low. Even lower than wanjing's voice la. Tsk tsk.
And mama neo changed her blog URL by adding in 2 more alphabets. How exciting right? And i am sure you all out there want to know what 2 alphabets she added (pls pretend even though you can't be bothered), you guessed it, the 2 alphabets are 'al' which signifies her super idol whom she's gonna marry sometime in may? Or is it april? Ahh, whatever ^^ For those who don't know, al = andy lau. Wonder what's with people liking those hong kong guys who are like close to triple their age. Hmmm.
For some reason, i miss the life in tekong, even though i only had 4 days in there. But it's quite fun with my section mates and the sergeants. Well, i am going to rejoin them in 4 days. I hope i don't get down-pes or OOC :(

By the time you guys read this, I would have started on my shot at Survivor: Tekong for the million dollars. And i will try my best not to disappoint you all. I will form as many alliance as possible, find as many Hidden Immunity Idols as possible, and win as many Immunity Challenges as possible. And I will be the most scheming player you guys ever see on Survivor history. Wahahaha!
Okay, total lameness. Yesterday i was fighting Candice for my 7th badge. My team was:
And guess what... Candice's lv 44 Froslass cleared my team. How absolutely amazing. Froslass used 5 Blizzards and 1 of them hit Torterra, 1 hit Staraptor, 1 hit Golem and 2 hit Machamp. Isn't it retarded? So I have removed 4 of my pokemon and replacing with 3 others. The last slot will be filled in after the Elite Four. However, this will only take place after 1st May because I will be inside for 2 weeks.
Last but not least, I wish all of you good health and all the best for your uni applications (for the gals of 13/07, waisin and shelia) and jiayou for your final year projects (for yuyan and joel) and ...

Previously on the Amazing Race, 5 teams on 2 set out from Dehli, India and travelled 1610km to Almaty, Kazakhstan. On the race, zhenyang and limin continued to burn bridges with other teams by snatching the Fast Forward from father and son, jack and wahngee. Cousins yuyan and lisa got into many arguments throughout the leg which allowed other teams to pass them. Good teamwork between pohchoon and priscilla propelled them up the pack. In the end, it was jack and wahngee who are unable to recover the lead lost while attempting the Fast Forward, causing them to be the seventh team eliminated from the race. 4 teams remain, who will be eliminated next?
zhenyang and limin, who were the first to arrive at 9.21am, will depart at 9.21pm.

A Detour is a choice between two tasks, each with its own pros and cons. In this detour, teams have to choose between two activities commonly done in military camps. The choice, Boots or Borscht.
In Boots, teams have to properly don a military uniform including traditional foot wraps. Then, join a training squad and learn a traditional parade march. when they think they are ready, they have to fall in line with a troop and march one whole lap of the parade grounds. If the drill sergeant is satisfied with their performance, they will receive their next clue.
In Borscht, teams have to properly don a military uniform including traditional foot wraps. Then, walk to the mess tent to seve borscht to a company of 75 Russian soldiers. Once each soldier receive a bowl of borscht, teams will receive their next clue.

This is the second of 2 U-Turns in the entire race. A U-Turn is always found at the end of a Detour. At this specific spot, teams can choose to U-Turn another team. The team that is U-Turned will have to go back and complete the other side of the detour which have not been done. However, teams can only use the U-Turn once, so they have to decide when it's the most advantageous to use it.
*1st team to arrive at Zhukovsky Bakery - yuyan and lisa* yuyan: we choose not to U-Turn. lisa: because we don't know if we are first or last or who's behind us. yuyan: *rips open clue* Roadblock.
A Roadblock is a task where only one team have to perform. In this roadblock, teams have to unload fifty 25kg bags of flour from the back of a truck and deliver them to the bakery. Once the team member have completed delivering all fifty bags, they will receive their next clue.
yuyan: it's a physical task. lisa: i don't think i can do it. yuyan: fine, i will do it. lisa: booboo jiayou, you can do it!

Previously on The Amazing Race, 6 teams of 2 set out from New Delhi across the town to Delhi, India. Along the way, teams were blinded bythe colours of a local festive celebration. siaun and baowen worked harmoniously with each other and came in with another strong finish. yuyan and lisa chose the correct detour and managed to sneak past the other teams. taxi problems continues to plague yanzhi and hanwei & pohchoon and priscilla. jack worked hard for their team in the Roadblock and the time gained managed to buffer them in the Speed Bump. In the end, it was a footrace between the family and the friends, resulting in yanzhi and hanwei tumbling from first to elimination. 5 teams remain, who will be eliminated next?
siaun and baowen, who were the first to arrive at 10.14 am, will depart at 10.14 pm.

A Roadblock is a task where only one member may perform. In this roadblock, that team member must enter the marked chicken shack and search among 30,000 chickens for 1 of only 7 golden eggs.
baowen: there's a Fast Forward!
This is the second of only 2 Fast Forwards hidden on the entire race. By performing the Fast Forward, that team can skip all tasks and proceed directly to the pit stop. However, teams may only use the Fast Forward once in the entire race, so they will have to decide when it's most advantageous to use it. In this Fast Forward, that team will have to travel to a restaurant where they will join in a traditional Kazakh feast.
baowen: it's a food task. siaun: nah, i'm too full right now. baowen: alright, i will do the roadblock.
zhenyang: fast forward, let's go. limin: okay kor.
yuyan: we cant go for the fast forward. lisa: so i will do the roadblock

Then they would have to follow a marked path to a Mongol warrior where they had to wait for their next clue to arrive.

Play Like Mad or Act Like Fools.
A Detour is a choice between two tasks, each with its pros and cons. In this detour, teams will have to choose between two Kazakhstan performing arts. The choice, Play Like Mad or Act Like Fools.
In Play Like Mad, teams have to travel by taxi to the Museum of Folk Musical Instruments where they will learn to play a simple Kazakh tune using two traditional instruments, the Dombra and the Shan Koby's. When the instructor felt that they had learn the song enough, he would send the team to the park to play for tips. They would earn their next clue once they had collected the equivalent one and half dollars.
In Act Like Fools, teams have to travel by taxi to a puppet theater, find the wardrobe department, and put on a two-person cow costume. Then, dressed as a cow, they have to walk the streets of Almaty to a marked stall where they have to drink a glass of milk. Say HELLO to another scheduled post. I decided to schedule it so that it would not look like i am too free today to keep posting.
So anyway, I was on msn now (which is damn rare for me) and I saw that 11 ppl is online under the 'SAJC' category. I was tempted to start a conversation with any of them, but suddenly i felt like a stranger to all of them. It's been like 2 years since i last contacted them? (with the exception of glen who's in 26/07) i wanted to ask them how are they doing and start a mass conversation like what we used to do during our orientation days, but there is this mental block there preventing me from doing so. Amarillo OG 12 and 07S15, i miss you guys so much T.T
Just now at my grandma's place, my aunties were talking about me finally turning into a man bcz of the upcoming army. Sounds creepy that I will be going to an unknown place with an unknown group of people. But I really wished that I will enjoy my days in Tekong like all those who went before me.

Previously on The Amazing Race, 6 teams of 2 travelled 3200km from Siem Reap, Cambodia to Delhi, India. Along the way, bad cab drivers caused troubles for jack and wahngee, and pohchoon and priscilla. The roadblock proved to be a challenge for yuyan when she does not have any experience with spray painting. On the other hand, buddies yanzhi and hanwei managed to breeze through the ironing detour due to their familiarity with the task, allowing them to check in first. Taxi mistakes soon appeared to be a problem when jack and wahngee could not find the pitstop, allowing the girls to overtake them. However, the father and son were spared elimination as it is the first non-elimination pitstop. 6 teams remain, who will be eliminated next?
yanzhi and hanwei, who were the first to arrive at 8.55pm, will depart at 8.55am.
yanzhi: *rips open clue* Travel to the central park of Deshbandu Apartments. hanwei: Let's go!

A roadblock is a task where only one member may perform. In this roadblock, that member will have to take part in a local festive celebration - the Holi Festival. That team member will have to make their way through a crowd of revelers who are pelting them with powdered dye and water in the festival's tradition. When they reach one of three ladders in the centre of the celebration, they have to climb the ladder and search through hundreds of envelopes marked 'Try Again' to identify one of only six labelled the Amazing Race. This specially marked envelope will contain the next clue.

A detour is a choice between 2 tasks, each with its own pros and cons. In this detour, teams will have to engage in 2 activities which will strain their eyes. The choice, Bleary Eyed or Teary Eyed.
In Bleary Eyed, teams have to go to a street corner to help the Department of Power. From street level, teams will have to follow a power line keeping track of the small number tags that sporadically appear. Then, they have to find a man with a sewing machine and give him the list of numbers. If their listis correct, the man will direct them to a shop across the street where they will plug in a musical Ganesha to receive their next clue.
In Teary Eyed, teams have to make their way to a spice market, pick up two 40-pound bags of dried chillies, and deliver them on foot one quarter mile to Sharwan Kumar and Sons. Then, they have to use a mortar and pestle to make enough chilli powder to fill up a container to the designated line.

Having being spared elimination from the previous leg, jack and wahngee encounter a Speed Bump, an extra task that only they have to complete. In this Speed Bump, jack and wahngee have to travel to a Sikh temple to take part in a common form of community service by volunteering to serve holy water to the patrons of the temple. Once they quenched the thirst of hundreds of gathering worshippers and there were no more temple-goers desiring water, they would be able to continue on the race, with the hope of making up this valuable lost time.

and now, i shall blog abt my 3d2n trip to genting highlands.
the trip is made with my family and 6 of my grandparent's friends. so apparently, other than my sis, there is no one else from my age group.
the bus ride was approx 7 hrs starting at 6.30am from bugis. i spent most of the time sleeping though. and thought abt stuff. then we had lunch, slept, dinner, window-shopped with sister while the old ppl went to watch the jenny concert, supper, slept. how exciting right. the only exciting part is when my dad allowed us to buy alcohol at this cheapo mini mart. but that vodka thingy tasted damn sour and gross.
the second day was much nicer. bcz we went to the theme park! it's really rare bcz knowing my totally-not-involving mother who is afraid of every ride except for the ferris wheel actually played a few of the rides! it was sort of a family bonding time and it's really rare for my family (for those who know abt my dad). but my sis just have to ruin it and go play with her friends whom coincidentally went on the same day. anyway, we played alot of the rides. technically every ride except, CORKSCREW (omg i wanted to play that la. stupid maintenance), flying coaster, flying dragon bcz of maintenance, space shot bcz of the head-ripped-off-body incident, and the viking ship bcz that's my most hated ride. so anyway, my fav ride was the antique cars whereby 4 of us (dad, mom, bro and i) squeeze into this old looking lao pok car and drove along the circuit. it was very fun bcz we were being lame. and my parents joked abt getting me a car like that after i get my license. that night, it rained heavily while we were having dinner at mid-hill. the breeze totally froze our asses but thankfully the rain stopped just when we finished dinner. that night, i went to the arcade alone and played tc4. it's not very cheap there, approx $1.30 per credit (compared to zone x which is 95cents) reached the first boss with 1 credit. best performance so far. then wanted to go casino but they decided to check my id. so i cant go in. and my sis actually managed to go in with my grandma la! so irritating.
the last day was quite boring too. woke up, had breakfast, slept, lunch, then took the bus back. lol.
yup, that's the end of my genting trip! and i bought a few packs of satay fish. sms me if you want. while stocks last.
