Previously on The Amazing Race, 8 teams of 2 set out from La Paz, Bolivia and raced 11100km to Te Puke, New Zealand. Along the way, felicia and seelek became clueless to what is known as a gordian knot, (seelek: maybe we are supposed to untie a knot to let the boat into the water.) allowing every other team to pass them. siying and zhiyan, tired of coming in 7th, attempted to go for the Fast Forward. However, the cousins edged them out by winning the Fast Forward, putting them squarely in last place. (siying: shit! this is very bad) pohchoon and priscilla managed to have a smooth leg, maintaining their lead over all the other teams, however, when they were not in first, priscilla erupted at the pit stop. (priscilla: i will ask my husband to sue your company.) In the end, it was a footrace to the pit stop to avoid elimination, resulting in siying barely edging out felicia, making felicia and seelek the 4th team eliminated from The Amazing Race. 7 teams remain, who will be eliminated next?

A detour is a choice between two tasks, each with its own pros and cons. In this detour, teams will have to choose between two jobs commonly done by Cambodians living on the water. The choice, Village Life or Village Work.
In Village Life, teams have to use their boat and collect three items: a set of toy teeth from the dentist, a doll from the tailor, and a basketball from the floating basketball court where each team member have to make one basket. Then, they had to deliver the items to a man at the dock to receive their next clue.
In Village Work, teams have to take their boat to a fishing ground, wade into waist deep water, and search among numerous fishing traps for two filled with fish. Then, they have to deliver the fish back to the dock and transfer the fish into baskets to receive their clue.
jack: let's do village work. i think we can sieve through the fishing nets quickly. wahngee: alright.
zhenyang: we are going to do the fishes. limin: yup!

A roadblock is a task where only one person may perform. And no person may perform more than 6 roadblocks in the race. In this roadblock, one team member will have to search the immense ground of Angkor Wat for a small elusive room named Prassat Kok Troung, also known as the Chamber of Echoes. Once there, they have to stand at a specific spot and thump their chest in such a way as to make the sound echo through the chamber, at which point teams could pick up their next clue.
