ok haven been blogging for a long time because i have been rather busy. since last sat.
anyway, many things have occured this past week.
sat, 24th jan 2009 - yuyan's bday. brought her to celebrate at nyny. and watched the wedding game which was rather funny then dragged home by sis to play mahjong with her frens. zy stayed over as it's his 1st book out.
sun, 25th jan 2009 - pc, yz, hw and zy at my house. played mj and i got 2nd. big reunion dinner with great-grandma at night. consist of 7 tables. one table is for the cousins and we totally had alot of fun
mon & tue, 26th & 27th jan 2009 - cny. went to bai nian all over sg and get red packets. gambled for the first time in my life and after 3 hrs of blackjack, i broke even -.-
wed, 28th jan 2009 - went to work. met up with joel and zw after work. discussed abt changing worlds and came to cass.
thurs, 29th jan 2009 - went to work and sort of quitted it. started char in cass officially. RejectedBoi. and got 1st job
fri, 30th jan 2009 - intensive mapling session. 15hrs with slight breaks in between. got 2nd job.
that's all. tmr going visiting with the usual gang and then cousins coming over at night. can't wait! i am so excited! weee~

Previously on Survivor: Micronesia, 20 castaways from different walks of life are gathered on the islands of Micronesia with a common goal in mind. To outwit, outplay and outlast the rest and win the game. During the 39 days, 15 are voted out while 3 are evacuated from the game.

zhenyang: now bringing in the members of the jury. jack, hanwei, timothy, jianhong, seelek, siaun, xinfang, and priscilla, voted out from the last tribal council. today, you two dont have to vote. instead, the power has now shifted into the jury's hands. you have a chance to convince the jury that you are worthy of winning the game. let's start. jack, you are up.
jack: uh hi. i understand that we have spent about 12 days together as an alliance but i want to know why you chose to vote me out. wanjing first.
wanjing: er i don't know. i just voted along with the majority.
jack. *looks surprised* ok. rachel?
rachel: at that point, you kept switching alliance which proved to be very dangerous. so i rather have someone like you, who might change sides at the last minute, to be voted out for safety reasons.
jack: *looks more surprised* that's it? alright. i'm done.
zhenyang: hanwei, your turn.
hanwei: i wanted to ask you how did you manage to get xinfang and timothy to switch sides? i know it's to get the majority of the votes, but how did you actually do it?
wanjing: well, we got close to xinfang and promised her final 3 is she voted along side with us. but it was really unlucky that she had to voted out because priscilla won immunity.
rachel: during the reward, we spent more time to solidify the alliance. and yeah. timothy was bought over by siaun.
hanwei: alright. that's all.
zhenyang: timothy.
timothy: all i want to ask is why did you two switch sides and voted me out.
rachel: we were afraid that you and siaun would become a powerhouse so we had to take you out early.
*siaun raised an eyebrow*
wanjing: besides, it was xinfang who suggested to blindside you when we had the chance. too bad you didn't use your idol.
timothy: *looks disbelieved* okay. i'm finished.
zhenyang: jianhong, your turn.
jianhong: i just want to know why do you think you deserve to win more than your opponent.
rachel: i believed i had tried my best to stay in this game. so i think it would be right to win.
wanjing: i managed to survive the odds of 1 against 7 and got into the merge. so i definitely deserved to win.
jianhong: ok. then why should your opponent not win?
rachel: i don't know.
wanjing: maybe because if not for me, rachel won't be here tonight.
jianhong: reasonable. done.
zhenyang: seelek.
seelek: well why did you choose me of all people to get voted out?
wanjing: i thought that you would be a bigger threat than priscilla and since we had a pact with xinfang, we have no choice.
rachel: yes. i just followed wanjing's choice.
seelek: but i sent you to exile! how could you choose me?
wanjing: we thought that priscilla would be weaker and will not win the immunity challenges. so we decided to choose you in the end.
seelek: fine. i have nothing else to ask.
zhenyang: siaun.
siaun: i have trusted both of you since day 1. but you two disappointed me. i have nothing to say.
zhenyang: alright.. xinfang, you are up.
xinfang: i already have in mind who to vote. thanks for honouring your promise to bring me to the final 3 until the final moment.
zhenyang: that is indeed peculiar. priscilla, you are the last one to go.
priscilla: well i expected you to choose rachel over me. so tell me why should i choose you over rachel?

Episode 13 Recap
Previously on Survivor: Micronesia, priscilla and wanjing broke out in a heated argument because of priscilla's failed attempt to get rid of wanjing. Winning the reward challenge, rachel sent xinfang to exile island and chose wanjing to go for reward together. Back in Dice camp, priscilla tried to persuade siaun to vote along side with her and get rid of rachel, reasoning it with wanjing will go down after rachel is gone. Meanwhile, xinfang found the hidden immunity idol. Just before the immunity challenge, rachel and wanjing decided to take out their biggest threat - siaun. desperate to stay in the game, siaun followed priscilla's advice. In the immunity challenge, priscilla's plan came true when she won individual immunity. With priscilla and xinfang safe from the tribal council, the girls decided to bring themselves into the final four. With his dominance slowly chipped away since timothy's elimination, siaun was voted out 4-1 and becomes the sixteenth person to be voted out and the sixth member of the jury.

priscilla: i feel really excited about this because i can get to secure my spot in the final 3 and a chance to win this.
zhenyang: if you would to choose, who would you rather not face in the final tribal council?
priscilla: i will choose wanjing. it's because of the way she played this game. she has built a strong social network with everyone and pissed off very few members of the jury. so i would say that my vote will most probably go to her. but then there are other circumstances which would make me vote otherwise
zhenyang: xinfang, how vulnerable you think you are right now?
xinfang: i am hoping for a tie so that i can try and win the tiebreaker.
priscilla: *thinking to herself* if i vote for xinfang, it won't be nice and i will most likely not get her vote. but i need more allies in the jury.
zhenyang: so wanjing, from what priscilla said, do you think you might be voted out today?
wanjing: i hope not. and i sure hope that i wont be blindsided tonight. seeing that there are so many blindsides this season
rachel: i am sure that no one wants to blindside such a nice person like you

zhenyang: alright. priscilla, back at the challenge, you lost to wanjing by just a little. how are you feeling right now?
priscilla: frustrated. i think i was too confident at that point and i lost concentration. that's it.
zhenyang: rachel, how confident are you now?
rachel: i don't know. i hope that by not voting wanjing the last time, she will not vote me tonight. but whichever vote she makes, i will not blame her as i would most likely make the same choice.
zhenyang: let's cut the story short. wanjing, i doubt you are giving the necklace away?

felicia organised a 'secret' outing to surprise me. but somehow they spoiled themselves and i got to know who are going. so felicia, priscilla, kelvinwoon, daryl and i went to cafe cartel at j8 for a dinner + a chit-chat session. the chit-chat wasn't so swell because felicia keep directing conversations to a certain someone which was quite anooying. but overall, it was very pleasant (other than those talks) and they had a surprise birthday slice of cake for me. and they somehow got very interested in 'smoking in pyjamas' which was totally lame and random.

went out with joel and zhanwei to celebrate again! this time we went to seoul garden at marina square. we totally ate like alot and talked abt life, maple and everything under the sun. then we went to the arcade and had alot of fun. like zhanwei playing kof (as usual), joel delivering his tofu (initial d, as usual) and me playing whatever game and losing in the early stages x_x then they suggested pool but i decided that i dont want to get back to that dreadful game so i steered ourselves away from it. then i went to wallet shop to buy 2 wallets for 2 of my very good frens who are in need of a new wallets. after that we played 3 hours of dota ai at some ulu (pronouced as you-loo) place. 3 HOURS. it was fun though. pugna rocks! haha. and we ended the day at raffles city burger king. and joel and i started to converse in china-accented chinese which was damn funny. especially when we tried to translate the maple terms like leech, priest and alot of things. thanks for the tigger cup! how'd you guys know i like tigger arh?
so yup. that's about it. can't celebrate with my family bcz i starting work tmr! guess what, suntec city new york new york official opening day is MY BIRTHDAY! something more to brag about ^^

Episode 12 Recap
Previously on Survivor: Micronesia, 7 castaways came true to themselves in the reward challenge. by answering questions, they get to eliminate people from winning the trip to jellyfish island. in the end, the most non-existent survivor. seelek, beat the rest and sent wanjing to exile. after the challenge, jianhong was medically evacuated due to his infected finger, making him the fourteenth person to leave the game and fourth member of the jury. priscilla's plan to get an all girls final five was foiled when siaun won immunity. in the end, they targetted wanjing when they made sure she doesn't have the idol. desperate, wanjing pulled out the idol during tribal council and saved herself. and it was seelek who got voted out, making her the fifteenth person voted out and the fifth member of the jury.

seeing all the enthusiastic sec 4 kids choosing their schools, it made me look back 2yrs ago when i made the choice. for those ignorant people out there, i was in sajc for my 1st 3 months. it was really honeymoon for me. ponning lectures, playing cards, eating beancurd, etc. however, when my o lvl results came out, i was in a dilemna. since i was not good enough to apply for the top 5 jc, i was struck with 2 choices. sajc, the place where i had my fun and laughter for the past 3 months? or ajc, the place where majority of my sec 4 frens chose (compared to sajc). in the end, i chose ajc and at first i hoped i didn't regret it. i kinda hated ajc in the beginning but as time goes by, i grew to love it. but i still miss sajc :(
ok i am being very random. to the sec 4 people, if you get posted to somewhere you hate. try to accept it and enjoy your time there. after all, you will be spending your next 2/3 yrs there. no point leaving that place just to remember how badly you hated it but instead leave the place with a heart which says 'i have definitely enjoyed my stay there'. all the best to everyone :)
p.s. congrats catholic high for another year of spectacular performance after my batch.

went to malaysia to have an insane k session today with my family! well mostly, it's me and my sis alternating songs. their arsenal of songs totally pawn k-box de. we had a package which adds up to 227 ringgit a.k.a. $96.
So each person is approx $24 (excluding my bro). And we have:
3 jugs of drinks (beer included)
a free sparkling juice
free flow tidbits
eat-all-you-want buffet
free 500g cake
5 hrs of non-stop k (we would have stayed on if bro and sis have no school)
damn worth it la! totally OWNED stupid k-box de lor. too bad i cant go malaysia with friends ):

went to the suntec nyny hanwei recommended for interview today and got selected. hanwei is having second thoughts though. come on hanwei, it'll be fun! anyway, it will be opened on 14th Jan 2009.. and my first day of work is going to be...... 15th Jan 2009. surprise surprise it's my 19th birthday. i am finally employed. haha.

HAPPY 200TH POST TO ME! YAY ME!
so anyway, went back to aj open house with pris and waisin. pris and i were crazy over collecting the stamps to get our free gift. and we succeeded! woohoo~ judging from the open house, i dare say it was more successful than the 07 one. well, the activities are better planned out and the facils are not bad, and there is audition in room 213! imba right.
also heard that edward, yu zhong and esther are becoming ogl. pris and i are planning to...... CRASH AJ ORIENTATION! ok lol. see how ba.
i decided to end the survivor thingy bcz it's quite mentally tiring. shall post the important events and RESULTS only.

zhenyang: welcome back. now bringing in the members of the jury. jack, hanwei and timothy, voted out on the last tribal council. many things have happened during the past few days. wanjing, how shocked you are when you noticed jianhong's departure?
wanjing: i wan very shocked because i was spending my time on exile, then when i come back, he disappears. i really think that he is a strong competitor. but that's just too bad.
zhenyang: priscilla, who do you think pose the most threat to you winning the million dollars?
priscilla: i would say siaun. he is physically stronger than all the girls here and i think he can try to manipulate us to vote off ourselves if he managed to win all the immunity idols.
siaun: well, wait till that happens.
zhenyang: seelek, how vulnerable you think you are? and what happened back there? you totally missed every shot at the immunity challenge.
seelek: my accuracy isn't that good and i cant really control guns that well. and i am really afraid that they might turn their targets to me and fire. then i would have to say that's too bad.
zhenyang: xinfang, you have been switching alliances. how do you think it would affect your gameplay?
xinfang: i think it might not be beneficial in the end but currently, it;s the only thing for me to keep moving on.
zhenyang: alright, it's time to vote. siaun, are you keeping the idol or giving it away?
siaun: keeping it.
zhenyang: siaun cannot be voted, everyone else is vulnerable. siaun, you are up.

seelek: i really enjoyed the game and the people i meet. i think that it's a mistake wanjing chose me because now that i am the jury and have the power in my hands, she is going to regret it.

Hello people! I am currently blogging from my parent's office. Lol. I realised how shameless it is to plant a super big countdown in my blog and hence, I have decided to do one in my head :D And it will also deter anyone from knowing my birthday and doing something unimaginable to me. ^^I am here to blog about the current ps2 game which I am crazy over about. It's KINGDOM HEARTS: CHAIN OF MEMORIES!It's like the most in and fun game in history (at least until my craze is over). It's almost as fun as er... felicia making banners to welcome tzy and npc back, i suppose. By the way, Cloud Lv3 - Omnislash rocks! Try that combo, it's almost 1hit kill to most mobs. Boss tend to trump it though ):So that's about it. Till the next time we meet, tada~By the way, Kingdom Hearts rox

Time for a quick update about my life!

went to dhoby ghaut with kelvin (xiao niang re), daryl (penguin), felicia (ball) and pris (huang mu) to go to mind cafe to play games. the happy hour was from 2pm-6pm but we left at 4pm bcz felicia have to go and john is joining us. then we went to the arcade for awhile. i was glued to pc bunk watching a bowmaster soloing papulatus clock. omg it was magnificent, superb, beautiful and *lots of undescribable feelings*. then pris and i went to prepare lucky draw gifts for the class gathering. "by the way, xiao niang re rox", some lame thing to call kelvin with haha.
then went home for family steamboat. the food was surprising better than ALL the past steamboat. dont ask me i dunno why. then jack and i played dota AI until 2am and he stayed over.

class gathering! it was fun fun fun fun fun fun fun (x infinity) thanx to all those who came and made it a success. here's a short summary. felicia and priscilla came early to cook bee hoon. i went to buy sushi and brought the rest over. waisin's salad was divine. the drink was weird. I DID A DI HU IN MAHJONG! WOOHOO~ brought felicia out with pris and we visited tianxiang. lol it was damn funny bcz he wasn't expecting us. then after a short chat we went back. i was totally shocked when everyone was seated quietly to watch xiao niang re. had gift exchange again.

4th prize (ayam brand tuna mayonaise) - wanjing

after that i brought jiexin, zhiyan and weiting out to the bus stop and stepped on gross tomato ketchup ): then we played card games like heart attack. then pris totally cheated using 4 Qs from the other deck. after that they start to watch the countdown show and prepared for countdown. at 12 midnight we shouted HUAT ARH! damn high la. then rachel, wanjing, waisin and pris went home. the rest of us took turns to bathe and slept (except baowen)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
we went to eat prata for breakfast and xinfang, baowen and siaun were shocked that their concession is over while timo and i still had ours. ): then i went home to sleep.
woke up at 2pm and went to johor bahru to shop. bought 6 ps2 games and that's all. had a nice and cheap seafood dinner (:
aren't all of you excited? i know you are. wahahaha~
