Episode 9 Recap
Previously on Survivor: Micronesia, the tribal merge ended the division between Snakes and Ladders. With the formation of the new tribe, it seemed that all is well. Until jack realised that the old Ladders are a majority. As a result, he allianced hopped to the old Ladders members. That was seen as unfaithful and the old Snakes slapped a traget on his back immediately. At the immunity challenge, jack worked hard to win individual immunity, however, jianhong outlasted him and send jack to a vulnerable position. Within the old Ladder members, they were torn between voting jack, the unfaithful one, or siaun, the threatening one. In the end, they split votes and jack became the eleventh person voted out of Survivor: Micronesia and the first member of the jury.

*after Tribal Council - Dice tribe*
priscilla: why did you vote jack? it's the best time to get siaun out of the game!
timothy: can we just drop that? what's done is done.
hanwei: do you know how strong siaun is? we is just going to dominate the challenges.
jianhong: dont worry, we have timothy to fight against him. besides, i outlasted siaun in the last challenge.
seelek: relax people. we will vote him out today.
timothy: *thinking to himself* so they are going to target me after voting out siaun. that's bad. i have to get the hidden idol.
siaun: we were lucky that they targetted jack.
rachel: yeah. god knows what will happen if they kept him.
wanjing: good thing they saw through jack's methods.
*most of the tribe went to sleep*
timothy: you have a huge target on your back.
siaun: i know. that's why i need the idol. like again.
day 25
zhenyang: Come on in guys.
*Dice tribes walking in*
zhenyang: This is today's reward challenge. You will be divided into 2 teams of four. One by one, members of each team will swim out to a multi-level tunnel of nets partially submerged in a lagoon and race through it. Once through the tunnel, you will swim to a platform and study a collection of Micronesian symbols, memorizing their positions on the answer key. You will then make your way back through the net tunnel to the start and arrange duplicate symbols on an answer board in the same positions as the answer key on the platform. The first team to arrange all the symbol correctly win the Reward: a flight to a neighbouring island nation, Yap, where you will enjoy a local dance, feast, and spend the night in an ancient village, returning to your camp the following morning. The last person not chosen will be going to Exile Island. Is eveyone understood?
everyone: yes.
*by random, timothy and priscilla are the leaders*
priscilla: i pick jianhong.
timothy: siaun.
jianhong: hanwei.
siaun: wanjing.
hanwei: seelek.
wanjing: xinfang.
zhenyang: so that leaves rachel to go to Exile Island.
rachel: again? alright
zhenyang: you will return in time for the next challenge.
rachel: have fun guys.
*rachel leaves for Exile Island*
zhenyang: So the Orange team consists of timothy, siaun, wanjing and xinfang. And the Purple team consists of priscilla, jianhong, hanwei and seelek.
zhenyang: ready, GO!
siaun and jianhong swims out first. siaun taking a short lead over jianhong out of the net. siaun taking his time to memorize the patterns. jianhong comes back first and fixes in some pieces. seelek swims out next. siaun returning and fixes almost double the amount of what jianhong has done. timothy swims out and starts to cross the net. seelek getting stuck and timothy gaining alot of time. both reached the platform together. seelek swimming back, timothy swimming back. both fixed in equal numbers of pieces. priscilla swims out. wanjing swims out.
wanjing beats priscilla to the platform. wanjing took a breif look and starts swimming back. priscilla swam back after her. wanjing fixes in the pieces. xinfang swims out, going to fix in their last 3 pieces. priscilla fixes her pieces and hanwei swims out. hanwei overtakes xinfang and reaches the platform. both swam back neck in neck. hanwei puts in all their pieces. xinfang puts in all their pieces. siaun swims out again! i think it's to double check. Purple thinks they are done. WRONG! jianhong swimming out to the platform. siaun swimming back.
jianhong took a hard look. siaun changed a few pieces. Orange thinks they are done. ORANGE WINS REWARD!
siaun: YES!
*wanjing and xinfang hugs each other*
zhenyang: ok Purple team take your stuff and head back to camp. Orange team, the plane will be arriving shortly.
*at Exile Island*
rachel: ok i have to find the idol.
*opens 1st clue*
rachel: let the hunt begin.
*at Dice tribe*
priscilla: ahh! it's all siaun's fault.
jianhong: chill.
seelek: i think we have to step up our game to beat them.
hanwei: let's vote siaun out tonight.
*at Yap*
xinfang: the food is great, the dance is wonderful, i love the culture here!
wanjing: this is truly a once in a lifetime experience.
timothy: their culture is that women go topless like men and i think that's cool.
siaun: you just want to ogle at them. haha.
timothy: whatever man.
*night fall - at Exile Island*
rachel: *opens 3rd clue* ok. i think it's too dark to continue. i should find shelter first. and continue tomorrow.
*night fall - at Dice tribe*
jianhong: the winds are getting very strong. i think it's going to be a chilly night.
hanwei: yeah. and the girls are totally shivering there.
priscilla: seeeee..leeeeekkk.. ppaaaassss meeee theeee clooothhh..
seelek: heeerrreee yooouuuuu goooo pppprriisssssccillllaaaa....
jianhong: they are totally overdoing it.
*night fall - at Yap*
siaun: ok so let's stick together and vote. it will get us into the final 5.
wanjing: yes. and i think it's beneficial for all of us.
timothy & xinfang: *keeping quiet*
xinfang: *dragging wanjing to one side* i need assurance. i vote with you guys to final 5 and what? vote me out?
wanjing: dont worry, rachel and i will assure u final 3.
xinfang: good to hear that. siaun and timothy have to go before final 5. keeping priscilla or seelek would be much better than them.
wanjing: we shall discuss it with rachel.

*at Exile Island*
rachel: i cant find the stupid idol. argh.. the clue says here. but where is it? no one's been here after siaun used it anyway.
*at Dice tribe*
*siaun, timothy, wanjing and xinfang returns*
jianhong: timothy, we have to vote siaun out now.
timothy: he is too much of a threat?
hanwei: yes. none of us are as good as him in the water. we will lose to him on water.
timothy: *keeping quiet*
priscilla: siaun has to go.
seelek: yes, i am voting him this time.
xinfang: alright.
day 27
zhenyang: Come on in guys.
*Dice tribe walking in*
zhenyang: Alright. Bringing in rachel from Exile Island.
*rachel walking back*
zhenyang: jianhong i will take the necklace back.
*jianhong passing zhenyang the invidual immunity*
zhenyang: Getting to today's challenge. Standing on a log with our one of your hands above your head, you will be teethered to a line stretching up to a bucket filled with water perched over their head. If you drop your arm or pull the line, it will tip the bucket, dousing you with water and taking you ont of the challenge. The last person standing wins immunity and a 1 in 8 shot at a million dollars. Alright get to your log.
*everyone scrambled onto their log*
zhenyang: Survivors ready? GO!
*20 minutes elapsed*
zhenyang: You guys have been out here a long time without sugar. The next person to drop down will get this bowl of candies.
seelek: i will. *drenches herself*
*45 minutes elapsed*
zhenyang: the next person to drop...
wanjing: ahhh! *drenches herself*
zhenyang: i haven't said anything. you dont get it. the next person who drops out wins a plate of cookies and a glass of milk.
hanwei: i will take it. *drenches himself*
zhenyang: 6 person left in the challenge.
timothy: *tugs arm abit out of line* oh crap. *drenches himself*
zhenyang: alright.. 5 people left...
priscilla: hahaha. *pulls down line* ahhh! *drenches herself*
zhenyang: people are dropping out one by one. 4 people left.
*60 minutes elapsed*
zhenyang: the next person to drop gets these 3 chocolate glazed doughnuts.
rachel: alright, i will. *drenches herself*
zhenyang: only xinfang, siaun and jianhong left in the challenge.
*3 hours elapsed*
xinfang: this is getting boring.
jianhong: you can drop if you want.
siaun: come on.. give up now..
zhenyang: 3 people still in the challenge.
*5 hours elapsed*
siaun: *yawning* oh damn! *drenches himself*
zhenyang: jianhong and xinfang left in the challenge.
*6 hours elapsed*
zhenyang: The next person to drop gets to share three chocolate chip cookies, four doughnuts, a big tall jar of candy, peanut butter, two chocolate bars, a glass of milk, two beers and a huge pizza.
*xinfang gave jianhong a glimpse*
xinfang: alright i will drop.
zhenyang: JIANHONG WINS IMMUNITY!
jianhong: yes!
zhenyang: for the second time in a row, jianhong gets the immunity. *putting necklace around jianhong* jianhong will be safe at tonight's tribal council, whereby one of the 8 of you will be going home. see you soon.
*Dice tribe walks back to camp*

rachel: i didn't find the idol.siaun: it's alright, the plan will be to vote out hanwei.
wanjing: i will go inform xinfang.
siaun: and i will tell timothy.
priscilla: so you know who to vote?
*jianhong, hanwei, seelek, timothy and xinfang nodded*
siaun: timothy, we are voting hanwei.
timothy: alright.
wanjing: xinfang, we are voting hanwei.

xinfang: *thinking to herself* i have the deciding vote. i dont really trust siaun but i need his alliance now to get further. i dont really like hanwei too. he has been bossy since day one.
timothy: *thinking to himself* i have the deciding vote. if i vote siaun, my chances of survival will be zero. if i vote hanwei, my chances of survival are slightly above zero. but siaun will bring rachel and wanjing in to the final 3. damn.
*at Tribal Council*
zhenyang: Welcome back guys. Now bringing in the members of our jury.
*jack walks in*
zhenyang: Tell me seelek, did you regret dropping so early in the immunity challenge just now?
seelek: sort of. but i think i can trust this group of people to let myself survive one more day.
zhenyang: interesting way of thinking. siaun, what about you?
siaun: i don't think that way. since day one, votes have been casted against me.
rachel: once is for me.
siaun: alright, all but once.
zhenyang: so you think you have to win every challenge?
siaun: yup
zhenyang: timothy, how do you feel about that?
timothy: i think that is by far the safest method to get to the finals. but whether you win or not depends on your ties with the jury. and i am working towards building interpersonal relationships.
zhenyang: even those that will jeopadize your alliance?
timothy: i hope not.
zhenyang: jianhong, you have won two of two individual immunities. how do you feel?
jianhong: i am very confident now. and i think i can win this game for sure.
zhenyang: priscilla, do you think jianhong will bring you far in the game if he gets all the immunity necklaces?
priscilla: i hope he will.
jianhong: that depends on how well she is liked by the jury.
priscilla: well, i can say that i am very lovable and will be loved by everyone for sure.

hanwei: somehow, i have this weird feeling that i am targetted because jianhong has the immunity necklace.
zhenyang: i see. what are you going to do about it?

Ok I think i am mad. I am keep thinking abt those horrible images in rec/quarantine such that i had a horrible nightmare last night. Woke up in the middle of the night and slept into it again.
Note to self: NEVER watch a horror movie again.

totally went out for another full day today. look at my poor blistered feet. (dont worry i dont have athlete's foot)
anyway, 1st half of the day was spent with bruno and daryl, my 2 best pals in sec 3/4 cmc. bruno needed shoes and daryl needed a coat. me? just tagging along. see how people are busy getting their prom stuff. ended up at RAFFLES CITY for gst & service charge free lunch at this super nice pizza and pasta. it wasn't that bad. the salad cream on bruno's caesar salad tasted weird though. then we went to look at topman for daryl's coat, aldo and pedro and some weird shop for bruno's shoes, and levi's for my matching jeans with the shirt. i found a nice jeans which i will get my mum to pay for tomorrow ^^ then went down to VIVOCITY and i bought my 1st wii game - Pokemon Battle Revolution. lol childish me as ever. after that we went to CINELEISURE and i played kof while they watched. i figured i getting sucky after the A's. need to brush up skills. then we went our ways and i went to the 2nd part of my day!
went to PLAZA SINGAPURA + THE CATHAY with 4-3 peeps! it was a SUDDEN class gathering because johnson is going back to malaysia soon. it was sort of a farewell for him. ended up 1 rj, 1 aj and NINE vj ppl went (see the imba jc disparity) had more pasta for dinner which tasted quite nice. and chilled at KFC while johnson ordered more food. then jr dragged me to wisma to try and get his topman shirt but it closed and we went to bishan and took a bus home. really miss those guys so i guess it was a nice gathering for me.
yup that's the end of my fruitful day!

went to vivo to shop for prom stuff with the girls today. omg timo and i were totally tortured to walk for almost 7 hours non-stop (of course a lil kua zhang) and my legs are sore.. for timo it's his hips.. we settled for something nice (like of course) thanx to rae's professional taste.

went to work for the 1st time today! at my parent's workshop. the working schedule is quite slack because i can get to choose when i want to work. And also there is free transportation + free meals + can surf net and play viwawa when there is nothing to do. LOL! while work, i learnt how to do e-filing, motor quotations and how to scan lame stuff like my face into the com! ok sounds fun right? but it can be very boring at times. like i stoned for 2 hrs today bcz there is practically no customers... the next visit i am going to learn accident reporting! so exciting!!! and i earned $50 for today (was supposed to be $50 then father made noise so cut to $30 then i make more noise then become $50 again ^^)
then i went to hougang mall to meet zy for dinner. it was meant to be the last meeting before he flies off to thailand for ocip. he chose hougang mall because his stupid pentdragon book 8 is found in cheng san library. (note: he is never nice to go so far to meet his secondary school friends.. different story for ajc people though) so i was like yay because its 4 bus stops from my house. then pc came along and we totally fei. like going to eat the super nice western food which was quite affordable and played arcade to kill time... the highlight of the day was the half price cakes at cafe cartel! i was chionging the bread until i cannot finish the cake. and look what pc did to my leftovers. enjoy his masterpiece below. he can totally become a chef in cafe cartel la. yup end of my exciting day amd bon voyage to zy and hw. i wont miss you guys ^^

Episode 8 Recap
Previously on Survivor: Micronesia, the Ladders tribe are celebrating their continuous victory over the Snakes tribe. However, wanjing felt outcasted from the group thinking of her alliance back at Snakes. In the meanwhile, Snakes encoutered problems of their own, dwindling in numbers, they stumbled badly during the challenge with poor teamwork, landing themselves in the 4th tribal council consecutively. when siaun found out that he had a target on his back, he and rachel pulled out a blindside with his hidden immunity idol, taking out jezabel with 2 votes, making her the tenth survivor to be voted out of the game.

*after Tribal Council - Snakes tribe*
hanwei: that was disasterous. the next tribal council we land in will force a tie. unless we can rope rachel over.
priscilla: that would be hard but worth a try. we can convince her how a threat siaun will be in future.
hanwei: yea. hope it works.
rachel: that was a close call!
siaun: if we get there again, there will be a tie and we are going to pick stones.
rachel: then, it would be anyone going. we have to get hanwei back.

seelek: treemail's here! we are moving!
jack: it says gather all your belongings and move to this area on the map.
xinfang: we are leaving the camp? why?
wanjing: *sounds excited* could it be a merge?!?!

siaun: we are leaving our campsite!
priscilla: looks like it's a merge.
hanwei: *thinking to himself* this is going to be just great. the original Ladders have an advantage on numbers.
rachel: i think we are in trouble. it's 4 against 6 in the merged tribe.
siaun: we can get some of them to flip. let's just try and hope for the best.

rachel: let's approach seelek? she seemed friendly enough.
wanjing: no, she has been plotting against me. priscilla?
rachel: no way. she had been trying to kill me and siaun since the swap.
rachel and wanjing: xinfang.
siaun: timothy, i am offering you an alliance. let's work together and help each other out to the finals.
timothy: what can i stand to gain from this?
siaun: look, you vote with them, guranteed final 6. you vote with us guranteed final 5. and we are powerhouses. we can totally own the challenges.
timothy: you have a point there...
siaun: besides, they flipped and voted baowen last time. what makes you think it will not happen to you?

wanjing: xinfang, rachel and i are thinking of forming a tight alliance with you to bring us into the final 3.
xinfang: sounds interesting.
rachel: you can continue voting with your tribe but wanjing and i have to be safe. then we will help you in numbers to turn against your tribe and vote out someone in future.
xinfang: i will think about it.
jack: so you are going to vote siaun?
priscilla: yes. why do you even bother? to sneak back and tell him?
jack: not really, i might vote with you guys. siaun is very strong.
hanwei: that's great.
jianhong: oh my god. i think that jack is too paranoid.
seelek: yes. first coming up to us. now going to disturb priscilla. and he still has his Snakes members.
jianhong: he is playing the game too well...

zhenyang: once again immunity is back for grabs. however, this time you will be playing for individual immunity. you must put your mind over matter in this immunity challenge. you will be positioned in a row under a steel grate partially surmerged in water. your breathing space will slowly disappear as the tide rises. the person who stays under the grate the longest win immunity, safe from tonight's tribal council and is guranteed a 1 in 9 spots for the million dollars. everyone understood?
Dice tribe: yes.
zhenyang: survivors ready? GO!

zhenyang: everyone is doing well under the grate.
*40min elapsed*
zhenyang: oh! wanjing gave up. xinfang gave up too! 8 survivors left battling it out.

zhenyang: seelek gasping for air and gave up! priscilla is unable to continue! hanwei slid out of the grate! only siaun, timothy, rachel, jianhong and jack left in the challenge.
*60 min elapsed*
zhenyang: timothy slide out of the grate! 4 people left fighting of immunity!
*75 min elapsed*
zhenyang: rachel coming up for air! siaun giving up! jianhong and jack fighting for immunity!
*95 min elapsed*
jack gave up and comes up for air. JIANHONG WINS IMMUNITY!
jianhong: yes!
zhenyang: jianhong wins the first individual immunity. see you guys in tribal council tonight whereby one of you is going home. head back to camp.

zhenyang: welcome back to tribal council. siaun, your tribe seemed to be on the minority side. are you worried?
siaun: of course i am. but that means i just have to put in more effort and win challenges that will be coming my way.
zhenyang: speaking of challenges, jack you hung out quite long during the immunity challenge.
jack: yes, i am quite insecure about my position in the game so i have to try my best to win the challenge to help myself.
jianhong: i am sure you did more than that.
jack: what do you mean?
seelek: i am sure you have approached everyone to help you stay in the game and i am sure people are pissed about it.
zhenyang: seelek, i can see you dont seem happy.
seelek: sure i am. jumping alliance is seen as unworthy of any trust and i am sure there are others who feel that way.
zhenyang: wanjing, you have been out with jack the longest. what do you think?
wanjing: well, after the merge he was the most anxious to find an alliance and it was very obvious that he totally neglected his previous alliance mates.
jack: that is how we play the game. do you want me to die hanging on to the alliance with the minority?
zhenyang: ok chill. xinfang, how important do you think alliance are in this game?
xinfang: i think how far you go depends on how strong your alliance is. and i can see that the previous Snakes members might suffer badly with such a tribemate.
jack: *shaking head*

went to vivo for brother's singapore media academy family day. it was quite cute watching those little kids performing. i think they are damn brave to perform in front a whole cinema of people. then we watched beverly hills chihuahua. it was specially screened for us and is only in theaters in 20th nov i think. it was a super nice show and very touching. a must-watch for dog lovers!

went for dinner with zhanwei and joel tonight. it was a successful gathering seeing that 75% of jehovah is present! LOL! had swensens for dinner with gigantic EARTHQUAKE. joel and i gg-ed halfway and zhanwei cleared almost the whole thing. what a glutton. then we went to arcade. i only used $1! then went to fairprice to decide what zhanwei is going to prepare for the chalet, a.k.a. my house. haha. then we went to goodspeed to play 1 hr of AI. and my troll owned. oh my, reminds me of jr..

today officially marks the end of my dealing with maths after 2 yrs of hardship in aj. the pure maths section was hard + tough + difficult + omfg + horrible + terrible + vegetable... you get the point. dont think can get A so hoping for B ba.. the stats was manageable though.
