went to kovan macs to study today. on the way home, i noticed a potential threat to the residents of kovan. thanx to the dimensions education campus (an international school catering to majority china people) and the 2 new hostels (previously parry primary school and a temporary school), the amount of china people appearing in the estate has alarmingly increased. you can say i am biased but you nvr know what they might do to you or your house. maybe spread some melamine to you or whatever. if i am kidnapped and sold to other countries, you can have my blog and my maple characters. tell my parents i love them too. after all my seemingly non-existent appendix and 10 packs are very expensive.

decided to blog about last sun's gathering. it was great grandmother's 92nd birthday!! we had a lunch outing at serangoon gardens country club jumbo restaurant whereby we ordered a buffet for 50+ people. and i played the second most impt role of the day (most impt is tai ma bcz she birthday 'girl') i collected the money yay me! -.- anyway it was a nice gathering bcz most of the people were present and the cousins get to hang around with each other after a super long long long time of not seeing each other. it was nostalgic. hah.
after that, some of us went to marina country club (or something...) at the super ulu punggol marina for K! omg we sang from 4-10.30 and the youngsters and the oldies kept snatching the remote to get the songs. end up we win of course =) wahahaha. and went home and studied econs -.- super anticlimax...

looked through my friendster and many memories started to unlock itself from my brain and into my soul. (sounds chim)
i am starting to miss my past. real badly.
from the fun and loving 6H in montfort. whereby the few prefects always hide on the gallery to play pokemon cards during duty. and the wonderful classmates and ms koh. then we would write lame pokemon stories. and always go to darren's house to play and do all sorts of random stuff tgt.
to the horrible sec 1-2 yrs i dont wanna rmb...
to the people who introduced me to maple and dota in 4-3`2006. the days we spent mapling and playing amazing race in maple. to the days we go lan shop frequently to play dota. and to the days we got labelled as the Eight Immortals. then we transformed to become muggers and delivered our results to denis.
and not forgetting my good friends from the student leader board. bruno, daryl and nicholas. the wonderful times we had joking and fooling around when we are supposed to be working. those times we slacked off from assembly to do 'illegal stuff'. and all my sec 1/2 class chairmen. missed those days when we were having fun tgt and getting scolded tgt. haha.
and off to 1st intake in sajc. OG 12 Amarillo and 07S15. i rmb how ms rachel zhou always remind us how gp is very important. and how an unexpected phone call to renette made me the class rep. and the lame stuffs we always do tgt as an og like eating loads and loads of waffles. and the birthday treat of WAFFLES given to me and al on our bday. also the guys in 07S15 forming the PG. lol and i was the treasurer or something. haha. and how we broke a test tube and messed around with the electronic balance in the chemistry lab. and those days we went to eat tau huey at the shop and playing bridge and big2.
those wonderful days have all gone and will always be locked deep in my heart.
i am going to go thru another phase whereby 13/07 (except someone) will always be weaved into this wonderful memory of mine. Good luck for all my friends taking A levels this year. All the best and never give up.

Episode 7 Recap
Previously on Survivor: Micronesia, Snakes finally found a glimmer of hope when they beat Ladders at the Reward Challenge. At Exile Island, timothy confronted renhui about siaun having the idol. but renhui insists that siaun doesn't have it as it's not in his bag. Back at Ladder's camp, felicia started to wail about how she might end up like yanzhi. after a long moment of self-struggle, she decided to quit the game, making her the eighth survivor to leave the game. At the immunity challenge, Snakes lost their lead by a slight margin when priscilla and rachel are unable to fix their puzzle. timothy and jianhong's observance paid off when they led Ladders to their 3rd consecutive Tribal Immunity. Moments before tribal council, Snakes are torn between keeping siaun, the strength of their tribe, or keeping renhui, who is less of a threat in future. In the end, the Snakes tribe voted out renhui 4-2, making her the ninth survivor voted out of the game.
day 20 *after Tribal Council - Snakes tribe*
siaun: i have a feeling they are targetting me now. rachel: it might be the tribal merge soon i hope. siaun: yea, and you heard about what jezabel said right? rachel: voting you out? ya. siaun: we have to be careful.
priscilla: if the 4 of them gangs up again, i will be in deep trouble. i must get hanwei and jezabel over at all costs.
hanwei: i suppose it's time for siaun to go. jezabel: we might be approaching the tribal merge. he is going to be a threat. hanwei: yes, let's see after the next immunity challenge.
*at Ladders tribe*
xinfang: i have a feeling that the tribal merge is going to happen soon. timothy: yes, we have to vote out wanjing now. jianhong: you think siaun has the idol? timothy: who else? why are the people in Snakes not voting him out?
wanjing: i wonder if siaun used his idol... *jack walks past and overheard wanjing* wanjing: i really hope it's the tribal merge soon.
jack: i overheard wanjing. siaun HAS the idol. timothy: aha! see. jianhong: so they are in an alliance. xinfang: he might use the idol to save wanjing. seelek: this is getting so bad.
day 21 *at Snakes tribe*
jezabel: guys, the treemail is here. we have to select one of them to sit out of today's reward + immunity challenge. and they will be given individual immunity good for tonight's tribal council. siaun: who should we choose? hanwei: choose a guy so they become weakened for today's challenge? rachel: should we go with timothy? since he has been out to exile so many times. let him get the idol and allow it for circulation? priscilla: i suppose that's good.

seelek: we have to choose one person from the opposing tribe to go to exile and give him/her individual immunity good for tonight's tribal council. jianhong: let's choose a guy, it will crush them. wanjing: how about siaun? he seems to be the strongest amongst them. xinfang: or hanwei? he is not bad too. timothy: the challenge is also about balance. how about choosing a girl who has the strength and the balance? wanjing: rachel then, she's quite good at challenges too. xinfang: well, how about jezabel? jack: she seems hopeless in challenges. wonder why they kept her so long. jianhong: so our decision is rachel?

zhenyang: Ladders chose rachel to go to exile. Snakes chose timothy to go to exile. timothy: me again? zhenyang: alright, you will be rejoining your tribe just before tribal council. have fun.

zhenyang: For today's Reward and Immunity Challenge. One tribe member at a time will attempt to navigate a balance-intensive obstacle course over a pit of water, while members from the opposing tribe try to knock you off by swinging heavy canvas bags at them. Once across, grab a flag and race back across the same course. If you fall off at any time, you will have to go back to the start and the next person goes. The first tribe to collect all five of your flags wins Immunity and a pizza party with beer back at your camp. Worth playing for?

zhenyang: Survivors ready? GO!
siaun making a quick lead over jack by jumping straight to the first platform. he tries to get across the revolving cylinders. xinfang tries to swing him off but failed. siaun getting across the balance beam now. jianhong swinging hard and hits siaun but he is still staying there. jack gets past the cylinders. siaun grabs the flag and starts to make his way back. jack grabs the flag. priscilla and xinfang trying to hit their targets but both missed. siaun and jack made it back! tied 1-1. wanjing took a quick lead out. but got hit by hanwei's bag and fell! jezabel jumped for the platform but missed! both have to restart! jack taking a quick lead jumping across the beam. siaun getting hit hard by jianhong but still maintaining his balance. jack grabs a flag and makes his way back. siaun grabs a flag and is right behind jack! tied 2-2!
wanjing starts to move out and gets hit by hanwei! but she stays on. jezabel right behind her. priscilla swings the bag and hits wanjing! wanjing fell into the water. the bag swings back and hit jezabel. she's in the water too! priscilla shouting out sorry! jack, once again took a short lead. siaun right on his tail. both manuevring through the course with ease. tied 3-3. wanjing made a jump and successfully reached the first platform. jezabel going out right behind her. hanwei swings a bag and misses wanjing by abit. wanjing with Ladder's 4th flag. jezabel running through. xinfang swings a bag but misses! jezabel running across the beam. oh she lost balance and fell into the water! wanjing coming back with Ladder's flag. Ladders lead 4-3! siaun going out ahead and grabs a flag with little difficulty. jack right on siaun's tail. siaun comes back. tied 4-4. jezabel starts to move out. hanwei and priscilla aims a bag at jack each. jack stopped and the bags swung past in front of him. jack makes it back! LADDERS WIN REWARD AND IMMUNITY!

zhenyang: Ladders, you will have a pizza and beer set being delivered to your camp shortly. Snakes, tribal council tonight. Since rachel's has the individual immunity good for tonight only, one of you four will be going home. Head back to camp.

timothy: don't bother finding it. it's gone. i found the place like long ago but the idol isn't there. rachel: *feigning ignorance* really? who has it? timothy: i don't know. almost everyone came before. it could be anyone we know. rachel: well, it's my first visit here so haha. timothy: wonder how they did for the challenge. rachel: i just know that Snakes tribe is so doomed.
*at Ladders tribe*
jianhong: oh this pizza is delicious! seelek: i wish i could eat this everyday. xinfang: leave some for timothy. he's coming back soon jack: sure sure. wanjing disappeared again. xinfang: where is she again? jack: so we will still be voting her the next time round? *silence* jack: i will take that as a yes.

hanwei: so we are sure that siaun doesn't have the idol? priscilla: if he had he should have used it during one of the past tribal councils. he was so close to elimination. jezabel: well, his time is up now. *siaun eavesdropping* hanwei: do you think the merge might be up soon? jezabel: i really hope so. we would totally be dominating after rejoining the Ladders people from the other side.
siaun: this is so bad. i am totally going to use my idol. but it's such a waste to use it now.
*siaun approaches hanwei and jezabel* siaun: i am thinking of voting priscilla. she hasn't been useful and she knocked jezabel into the water. hanwei: well anything. jezabel: i am alright with it. siaun: ok that settles it.
*rachel returns from Exile Island*
*siaun rushing to rachel* siaun: we lost the challenge. and i overheard the 3 of them plotting against me thinking that i dont have the idol. the 2 double crossers still tried to trick me into voting out priscilla. rachel: what?!?! so you are using it? siaun: i have to. but who shall we vote? rachel: hanwei? he seems to be a threat. siaun: i say priscilla. she seems to be trying to get rid of me since the tribal switch. rachel: well. let's think deeper into the issue.

zhenyang: Welcome back Snakes for the 4th time in a row. Tough luck. priscilla, how did you feel about the challenge just now.
priscilla: i felt that we did well. just that we made some stupid mistakes here and there and lost our lead.
siaun: i think we did good out there. just that some people can't aim properly or some others can't dodge objects flying towards them.
jezabel: the bag wasn't meant for me. how do i know that it will hit me.
priscilla: besides, swinging that bag was hard. why not you try swinging it next time. it's heavy you know.
zhenyang: alright. what are your views hanwei?
hanwei: i still think despite being very small, the tribe is still very divided. people just cannot work really well with each other.
priscilla: that's because some people's attitude is in the way.
siaun: and some people just kept trying ways and means to get others out.
zhenyang: ok. rachel, being absent from the challenge, how are you feeling right now?
rachel: i must say i am less stressed out than them due to the individual immunity, but i also face the dilemma with the on who to vote. and after today, i am also vulnerable.
zhenyang: let's assume you have the deciding vote, who would you not bring to the merge among these people?
rachel: i would say jezabel. because she has been on good terms with many people, both on our tribe and in Ladders. she has helped out many people in getting majority of the votes and i am sure she can sweet-talk the jury in the future.
*jezabel raises her eyebrow*
zhenyang: how about you jezabel?
jezabel: i would say siaun. for obvious reasons, he is really strong in challenges and i said before that i dont want him to jeopardize my chances in the game by winning away all the immunity idols.
siaun: am i really a terror to you?
jezabel: you could be one.
zhenyang: siaun, do you think being a strong player has put a large target behind your back.
siaun: i would say yes. as we are nearing the merge, they will start to try ways and means to get rid of me. by then, i will have to work even harder to ensure my own survival.
zhenyang: alright. it's time to vote. hanwei, you are up.
zhenyang: if anyone has the hidden immunity idol, it will be the best time to play it.
siaun: i will.
*priscilla, hanwei and jezabel appears shocked*
zhenyang: alright, all votes towards siaun will be void. and the person with the most votes will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately. i will tally the votes.

Episode 6 Recap
Previously on Survivor: Micronesia, Snakes once again lost back to back challenges to Ladders, leaving then with no reward and vulnerability to Tribal Council. Moments before the Tribal Council, siangyong desperately garnered votes against siaun, while siaun does things antagonistically. In the end, siangyong lost out and being voted out 4-3, becoming the seventh person voted off Survivor: Micronesia.
day 17 *after Tribal Council - Snakes' tribe*
siaun: this is horrible. we just keep on losing and losing and losing. jezabel: we are now down with 2 guys. definitely not very pleasant. rachel: we have to vote out someone the next time and not compromise our strength. hanwei: renhui. siaun: good point. rachel: i am hoping this alliance of 4 will be strong enough to last us to the finals.
renhui: we are in grave danger. 2 of us will never win the 4 of them priscilla: we must get them to blindside siaun the next time.

zhenyang: Let's get to today's reward challenge. For today's challenge, tribes will work with traditional Micronesian money-stones, large wheel-shaped stones standing almost as tall as the Survivors themselves, once used as currency by the native people. Four blindfolded teammates will use long, wooden handles attached to the stones to steer yourself through a jungle course riddled with rocks and stumps. Two other teammates will act as callers, verbally directing the blindfolded teammates to four ground-level stations. Pushing the stones through each station, the weight of the stone will crush tiles cradled at each post. Here, you'll find a pair of smaller money-stones that will be used to solve a rotating-cog puzzle, a series of flat-laying pegged-wheels that spin and rotate to fit all eight money-stones. The first tribe to complete the puzzle wins Reward. The winning tribe will enjoy a trip to the Herbal Essences Great Escape Spa, and the chance to refresh yourselves with Herbal Essences products and indulge in a tasty snack. The winning tribe will also send a member from both tribes to Exile Island. Understand?

Snakes getting an early lead with jezabel directing them to the exact position. seelek calling for Ladders but they can't crush the 1st tile. Snakes pulled ahead crushing the 1st tile! Ladders following closely behind also breaking their first tile! jezabel continued to command the blindfolded Snakes members effectively crushing their 2nd tile! Ladders missed the second station. They have to try again. jezabel's effective calling giving Snakes a huge lead, crushing their 3rd tile! Ladders just going over their 2nd tile! seelek giving wrong directions. Ladders going into Snakes' 3rd station. Ladders losing alot of time there. Snakes went on ahead to crush their 4th tile! Ladders struggling to get to their 3rd tile.
priscilla, siaun and hanwei went to fix the rotating puzzle for Snakes. wanjing takes over as caller. Ladders crushing the 3rd tile! Snakes losing alot of time fixing the puzzle. priscilla thinks she solved it. Oh but it's wrong! wanjing leading straight into the final tile crushing it! Ladders catching up! hanwei thinks he got it. SNAKES WIN REWARD!

zhenyang: finally winning a challenge after so long eh? choose someone to go to exile. siaun: we are choosing timothy. *slight discussion* renhui: and i will go along.

timothy: seriously we don't have to do anything. renhui: the idol is still up. timothy: no way. the place has been dug out. there isn't any idol there. renhui: but nothing's in siaun's bag. timothy: don't take things at face value. he may be craftier than he looks.
day 19 *at Ladders tribe*
felicia: i can't take it anymore. i don't want to end up like yanzhi. jack: please. we are already almost 3 weeks into this. felicia: that's why we are more prone to disasters. we are all tired and exhausted. i want to quit. jianhong: not at this point. we are doing fine. felicia: we won't be. the future is so dark ahead of us. i want to go home now!
*zhenyang arrives*
zhenyang: so felicia, have you decided?
*long silence*
felicia: yes. bring me out of here. good luck guys. zhenyang: alright. that makes you the eighth survivor to leave the game felicia: goodbye.

rachel: the reward was indeed amazing. after long hours of trudging out here. siaun: yea. we finally won a challenge. now to gain immunity! rachel: we can't afford to lose. our numbers are diminishing.
priscilla: hanwei, are you going to vote for siaun this time? he has been around too long and is getting threatening. hanwei: we need him to win challenges. priscilla: whatever you say.
jezabel: i am really nervous about tomorrow's immunity challenge. if we lose again, i might be the next to go because they are going to keep the stronger players.
day 20 zhenyang: welcome to the Immunity Challenge. firstly, timothy and renhui, please return to your tribe. Snakes, take a look at the new Ladders tribe. felicia quitted yesterday because she was afraid what happened to yanzhi happened to her. so we are even again. Today's immunity challenge. One at a time, tribe members will race across a floating bridge out to a platform in the water, while pulling with you a long rope attached to a giant wench back on the beach. Once you reach the platform, you will clip the rope onto large folded puzzle pieces and hang on to it as the rest of the tribe cranks the giant wench, pulling you and the puzzle piece through the water back to shore. Once the tribe has collected all five puzzle pieces, two tribe members will unfold the giant puzzle pieces and fit them together to gotm a large puzzle in the shape of a perfect square. The first tribe to solve the puzzle wins Immunity and is safe from Tribal Council.Losers have a date with me at Tribal Council tonight. You have some time to strategize.

Both reached the puzzle pieces and being reeled back at the same time! hanwei re-running for Snakes as fourth runner! seelek is the third runner for Ladders! seelek can't balance well and falls into the water! hanwei falls into the water too! but hanwei beat seelek to the puzzle pieces! Snakes with a huge lead now! seelek hooked onto the puzzle pieces! siaun running for Snakes as the last runner! wanjing running again for Ladders as 4th runner! siaun reaches the puzzle pieces and gets reeled back! Snakes starting on the puzzle piece!

LADDERS WIN IMMUNITY!

zhenyang: Ladders, immunity for the 3rd time in the row. Snakes, Tribal Council for the 3rd time in the row. Head back to camp.

renhui: timothy suggested that siaun has the idol. he brought me to see the dug site. priscilla: we have to vote him now to flush our his idol.
siaun: so carry on voting renhui? rachel: yes. she is practically doing nothing. jezabel: (thinking to herself) anyone is fine except me. hanwei: agreeable. we need to start winning challenges.

zhenyang: welcome back Snakes. renhui, tell me what do you think about this game after 20 days in it.
renhui: it's alot about interpersonal skills and how well you treat others. if you see someone acting like a bigshot and ordering others around, you would not want him around.
priscilla: i agree. it's just very uncomfortable being ordered around like you have no say or personal rights.
zhenyang: i suppose you guys are referring to siaun? siaun, what do you have to say?
siaun: in this game, everyone just wants everyone else out. i am sure there are people here trying ways and means to get rid of me but if they want to sabotage themselves by losing more strength and losing the next immunity challenge, then go ahead and vote me.
rachel: i think what's important now is to keep the tribe as strong as possible to win challenges.
zhenyang: winning challenges may be important but surviving the game is also equally important. hanwei, do you think siaun staying will sabotage you of your chances to win?
hanwei: not really. i would say if we can work well together, it may even bring the both of us far. but by then, it will be a totally different story altogether.
zhenyang: jezabel, what's your say?
jezabel: i would say that guys are physically stronger when it comes to individual immunity and i want them out. but as a tribe i would prefer to keep the guys so that our strength will still be there during challenges.
zhenyang: oh? so siaun, do you feel threatened by what jezabel said?
siaun: well, that might happen after the tribal merge, but things will take care of itself when it gets there.

A levels are ticking nearer and nearer!
I am sure i have not utilized my time most efficiently but i must say that i have been trying my best at my revision. with occasional breaks at maple/arcade. I suppose it's time to step up my revision by a notch. But even with you are mugging away furiously out there, don't forget you are also human and need your well deserved rest and the moments of pleasure. Don't overdo yourself in this last stretch. Last but not least, all the best to all my buddies and friends taking A levels.

SIAUN!! probably my best friend in class since april 2007. i used green bcz i rmbed your highlighter. i even tried to use the same shade. ok alot of things to say. thank you for being such a wonderful friend throughout my life in AJ. ever since we knew each other, you have been helping me out in every aspect of my life. you helped me in my homework when i have doubts.. you helped me to integrate better into a co-ed environment after my 10 years in boy school.. you helped me to understand many important life skills.. overall you have been a crappish person, a damn crappish person who is jovial and always there to cheer people up with all your jokes and funny ideas. there to bully baowen and siying and even jenyun in maths group.. i am really happy to have known such a good friend like you who have also been standing by me all these while. i am sure i am going to miss your presence after this and your dinosaurs and plankton.. i will also miss the days we try our best to dodge our darling/best friend or try to sabo timo to sit with him.. ya.. let's work hard towards our goal and let's see each other back in AJ teaching our juniors in future! Episode 5 Recap
Previously on Survivor: Micronesia, 16 remaining castaways went through a tribal switch which left both tribes withe 4 Snakes and 4 Ladders members. The new Ladders tribe managed to work well with each other and dominated both the Reward and Immunity Challenge, sending Snakes to their 1st tribal council since the switch. siangyong decided to flip sides and help the old Ladders vote out siaun while hanwei and jezabel flipped to help the old Snakes to vote out pohchoon. in the end, pohchoon falls short of one vote and becomes the fifth castaway voted out of Survivor: Micronesia.
day 14 *after tribal council*
priscilla: i thought we were already decided on voting siaun. what happened? hanwei: we need siaun for future challenges. jezabel: yes. i dont want to go to tribal council ever again. priscilla: and you think pohchoon is the weaker link? hanwei: i don't know. jezabel: and i think siaun has the idol. i saw it popping out of his bag when we are walking to tribal council. priscilla: but siangyong said he doesn't have. hanwei: just be careful with our votes next time.
*at Ladders tribe*
jianhong: i still think we should vote wanjing. felicia: i am just afraid she will win over the jury if she makes it to the finals. jack: i suppose so. seelek: with wanjing out of the way, i think we will have equal chances. felicia: and she is like alone here. yanzhi: her alliance mate are all at the other side. xinfang: it's the best time to strike now. timothy: that would make 7 votes to her. yanzhi: she is like so dead now.
day 15 zhenyang: come on in. Ladders, take a look at the new Snakes tribe. pohchoon voted out last night's tribal council.
*murmurs among the Ladders tribe*
zhenyang: today's reward challenge. Both tribes will swim across a lagoon to a floating platform to collect several bundles of planks, sticks and rope. They will race back to shore and build a blockade in the opposing tribe's tunnel in 10 minutes. When time's up, tribes will race to tear down the blockade the opposing tribe built in their tunnel. First tribe to get all the tribe members through the barricaded tunnel and onto their tribe mat wins. The reward, 2 native Micronesian Fishermen will visit your tribe and teach you how to live off land. And winning tribe choose one person from the opposing tribe and one of your own to Exile Island. Worth playing for?
Snakes: YES! Ladders: YES!
zhenyang: Ladders, you have one extra member. Who will be sitting out for this challenge? Remember, you cannot sit out for back-to-back challenges.
yanzhi: i will.
zhenyang: Ok. Survivors ready? On your marks, GO!
everyone in the water swimming to the materials. siaun leading for Snakes and timothy leading for Ladders. siaun reached the materials first. He is now passing it down the tribe like an conveyor belt. Ladders fumbling as timothy swings the planks and hit seelek. priscilla first up for Snakes with their 1st bundle of sticks! Snakes are doing good progress, determined not to lose another challenge. Ladders having difficulty with jack trailing behind carrying 3 bundles. jianhong went back to help him. timothy getting out of the water first for Ladders with their 1st bundle! Snakes have all their bundles and is starting to build up the barricade. Ladders struggling and jack and jianhong are left in the water with 4 bundles. wanjing going back into the water to help them.
Snakes starting to build the barricade by concentrating their materials in the front. siangyong tying up the loose ends while renhui holds the sticks in place. Ladders catching up as xinfang and felicia building the first part of the barricade.
*both teams build up barricade for the next 10 minutes*
zhenyang: When i say go, you will run to your own tunnel and break down the barricade built by the other tribe. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, GO!
*both teams frantically switched sides*
jack found a blind spot and took down the top part of their tunnel. Snakes are having problem as siaun and hanwei cannot untie the knot. jezabel and renhui working together to try and clear the middle portion. Ladders making quick work of tearing down the barricade with timothy and xinfang pulling apart the planks piece by piece. rachel managed to pull out a bunch of planks opening the entrance. siaun climbing in and dismantling the barricade from inside. jack climbs in for Ladders and opened a path. Ladders having a huge lead with majority of their tunnel clear. jack is clear! timothy hanging in their to help drag out remaining members. siaun fumbling with another knot. seelek is clear! jianhong is clear! siaun unties the knot and made it through the tunnel. siaun is clear! priscilla is clear! rachel is clear! Ladders helping the members to get through. wanjing is clear! xinfang is clear! felicia is clear! timothy is clear! LADDERS WIN REWARD!
*Ladders members cheering*
zhenyang: decide who to send to Exile Island.
felicia: we choose priscilla. timothy: and i will go along.
zhenyang: alright. Snakes go back to camp. Ladders, you will have the 2 native fishermen will be waiting for you in camp. Ask them everything you need to know. Before you go, the Survivor Medical Team wants to examine yanzhi's arm.
*after examination*
doctor: you have to accept treatment immediately. there is a major infection and if you refuse, your arm might me amputated. yanzhi: no way. doctor: an infection in the bloodstream can kill. i am offering the best solution.
*a long moment of silence*
yanzhi: alright. i will.
*dramatic scene, people crying and everything*
zhenyang: well yanzhi, that makes you the sixth person to leave Survivor: Micronesia.
yanzhi: well, it just sucks to leave thanks to that rotten branch. why must it fall on me?!?!?! i guess it's the end of the road for me.
zhenyang: Ladders, head back to camp. Make good use of the fishermen.
*on Exile Island*
priscilla: so we are here to find an idol? timothy: yea. priscilla: well you found one. me. timothy: har-har. not funny. priscilla: whatever. i am not going to stick with you, mr not-fun-at-all. timothy: dont disturb me.
*at Ladders camp*
seelek: the fishermen are great. felicia: yea. first they caught fishes for us, then the crabs i wonder what's next. xinfang: we've lost yanzhi, but we got a feast back. jack: it's good. poor Snakes. jianhong: i wonder where did wanjing go to.
*sitting alone by the beach* wanjing: they have been losing challenges. what if they got voted out before the merge? i will be totally vulnerable then.
*at the Snakes camp*
siaun: argh. we are just losing everything. it's the 3rd challenge in a row. rachel: we totally made a mistake by allowing those who know nuts about knots to tie those planks together. renhui: i just think we are in trouble. big trouble.
hanwei: that challenged sucked. jezabel: yea. i got a feeling that the immunity challenge might end up the same way. hanwei: i just checked with siaun. he doesn't have the idol. he emptied his bag for me. jezabel: maybe it was just me.
siangyong: this is quite bad. they may just all gang up against me. i need priscilla's help to get hanwei and jezabel's votes.
*at Exile Island*
timothy: the clue leads me to here. but there is nothing. oh that patch seems to have been dug up. one of them must have found it. must be siaun.
priscilla: this is boring. i can't wait to rejoin the tribe.
day 16 zhenyang: welcome back survivors. firstly, priscilla and timothy from Exile Island. rejoin your tribe. yanzhi left the game due to his arm infection yesterday. the medical team opened the wound and washed it. he is safe now. so now we are even. seven-seven. your immunity challenge is this. Tribes will transport 2 tribemates from one tower to the next, in waist-deep water, using giant stepping poles that the rest of the tribe must support. The tribe member making the crossing will effectively leapfrog from one pole to the other across the lagoon to the second platform. Once both tribemates are transported, the entire tribe must then climb atop a third and final tower and squeeze onto a tiny wooden platform. The first tribe with all seven members on or above the top platform wins immunity. Losers will see me at tribal council tomorrow. Are you clear?

Ladders trying to outwit the challenge by transporting wanjing across with only one pole! Ladders making good progress there. jezabel is stuck. she takes a step forward very slowly. Snakes not stealing Ladders' strategy. wanjing makes it across! now to transport xinfang. jezabel taking very slow and steady steps. Ladders pulling ahead with xinfang halfway across. jezabel losing balance. but she managed to grip on. xinfang trying to reach for the platform. OH she lost balance and fell into the water! Ladders have to go back. jezabel reaching the platform. Ladders transporting xinfang again. jezabel jumps for the platform and reaches safely! Ladders with a huge lead. Snakes going back to transport renhui. xinfang reached the platform! all seven members have to on or above the platform. Snakes using Ladders' strategy to transport renhui. timothy standing in the middle of the platform while the other tribemates held on to him standing on one foot. LADDERS WIN IMMUNITY!

zhenyang: Snakes, we meet again. tell me siaun, how do you feel losing 4 challenges in a row?
siaun: it just sucks. and most of the time, it's really losing by that margin.
rachel: yeah. we were winning but because of some people not putting in their best at that most important and crucial moment, we lost it.
siangyong: well, sometimes it's just that maybe someone making the others displeased and refuse to work with them.
zhenyang: woah woah. relax. i sense alot of internal conflict within you guys. renhui, what's your take?
renhui: i agree that the tribe is indeed divided with 2 clear sides and there is this floating group who is willing to help either sides kill the other sides.
hanwei: in simple terms, people just act what the think is the best for their own survival.
zhenyang: i see. jezabel, how did you feel when you see Ladders overtaking you back there?
jezabel: i was like thinking why the guys below are not adopting Ladders' strategy and we might zip through the challenge.
zhenyang: guys, what do you have to say?
siaun: it's not very right. after all they came up with it.
hanwei: but we decided to implement the strategy after we realised we were lagging far behind. but it wasn't enough.
zhenyang: i see. priscilla, tell me your view of Exile Island.
priscilla: That place stinks. and boring. and the only person who went with me is only interested in finding the idol.
zhenyang: well isn't that the reason for being there?
priscilla: well yeah, but cant he at least be abit more fun?

zhenyang: if anyone has the hidden immunity idol, it will be the time to play it.

Episode 4 Recap
Previously on Survivor: Micronesia, Snakes came up with good strategies which help them sweep past both challenges, winning 4 out of 6 challenges in total. The Ladders tribes started to lose their morale as they saw their competitors winning almost every thing. Before the Tribal Council, hanwei's bold move to get xinfang to swap sides paid off as baowen is voted off 7 out of 9 votes, making her the 4th castaway voted out of Survivor: Micronesia.
day 11 *after Tribal Council*
timothy: i didn't think that the tables would turn this way. xinfang: i am sorry. i voted baowen too. timothy: you what? xinfang: you are their next target. we have to win and send you to exile island. timothy: why are you doing this? xinfang: i was really sorry voting out baowen. and i really dont want to lose this friendship. timothy: *sighs* even without you, the 6 of them is enough to take us out.
hanwei: this is getting better. first jingren, now baowen. i am like totally dominating this. jezabel: don't get too comfortable yet. we must not let timothy go to exile island. hanwei: no. this time we vote out xinfang.
*at Snakes tribe*
siangyong: let's eat one of the chickens we won. felicia: ok! renhui, let's collect water. siaun: i will go and collect firewood. rachel want to come along? rachel: anything. yanzhi: i will go get some coconuts then.
*everyone went off to do their own tasks*
siaun: i have the hidden immunity idol. rachel: ok this is great. stash it away so that no one finds out. siaun: let's hide it in the cave then. rachel: this is going to be so useful in the upcoming tribal councils.
day 12 zhenyang: welcome back survivors. last nght, baowen was voted out of Ladders, and today, we are switching tribes. drop your buffs guys. Snakes, the person who picked the purple stone remains in the Snakes and has the first choice of contestants. For Ladders, it's the orange stone.

zhenyang: open. siaun remains in Snakes and xinfang remains in Ladders. Snakes have the first choice.

zhenyang: This is your reward challenge today. Tribe members will be divided into pairs and harnessed together. Each round, a harnessed pair from each tribe will chase a pair from the other tribe through a muddy obstacle course, attempting to grab a flag off the opposing tribe's back. Each time a pursuing pair grabs the flag, they score a point for their tribe. To make things interesting, the chasing pair only has 60 seconds to capture the other tribe's flag. If they fail to do so, the fleeing tribe score a point. First tribe to three points win reward: a steak barberque with all the fixings, wine and spices. To give the new tribemates a chance toget to know each other, no one will be sent to exile island.

pohchoon slipped and fall! siangyong hit his head against the wooden fence. xinfang snags the flag. 1 point to Ladders!
Injury tally: pohchoon injured his ankle. siangyong's head has a big bruise.
next up, rachel and jezabel from Snakes catching jack and yanzhi from Ladders.

jack and yanzhi manuevre through the course swiftly. rachel jumps but misses yanzhi, hitting jezabels lips instead. ooh, it's swollen. 10 seconds left. jezabel attempts to corner jack and yanzhi and makes another dive. jack evades successfully and rachel's shoulder hits the wooden pole. time's up! 1 point to Ladders! Ladders lead 2-1.
Injury tally: pohchoon's ankle, siangyong's head, jezabel's lips and rachel's shoulder. Looks like Snakes is having a very bad time.

jianhong and timothy jumping across the wooden fence. it's a good strategy as renhui and priscilla are trapped with nowhere to go. jianhong lunges at priscilla and manage to grab her flag. LADDERS WIN REWARD!

day 13 *at Snakes tribe*
siaun: yesterday's challenge was a disaster. so many people got injured. *helping to massage rachel's injured shoulder* rachel: ouch! lighter! siaun: alright. renhui: if this keeps up, we might lose the immunity challenge too. siaun: yes. that's bad you know. renhui: if we really end up in tribal council, who are you voting? siaun: most probably jezabel or priscilla. renhui: ok you have my vote.
priscilla: your lips and like puffing up badly. jezabel: i know. ouch! pohchoon: and so is my ankle. hanwei: that was a totally screwed up challenge. pohchoon: yes. didn't expect to like die out there. siangyong: hey guys. hanwei: what's up? siangyong: either one of us have to flip in the tribal council and i would gladly be the guy. help me vote siaun out. pohchoon: why? siangyong: he is a really strong competitor out here and if he stays we won't have a shot at the prize. hanwei: *whispering to jezabel* i am not following him. siaun is crucial to win challenges now. jezabel: *whispering back* yes. who to vote out then?
*at Ladders tribe*
timothy: let's barberque the remaining food. wanjing: alright. i will help. xinfang: i can help out too. yanzhi: felicia, let's go over there to collect some firewood.
yanzhi: look's like its 4 from each tribe here. want to flip over to the other side and vote out wanjing? felicia: she's quite strong and friendly to everyone. it will be hard. yanzhi: well. it's worth a try. felicia: careful! *a tree branch fell and cuts yanzhi arm* yanzhi: holy shit. felicia: the bleeding is very bad. yanzhi: let's get back to camp first.
seelek: oh my! what happened?!?! yanzhi: a tree branch fell and cut me. jack: we should call in the medical team. it's a deep gash.
*medical team arrives and stitches up the deep cut*
yanzhi: this is bad. there might be an infection and it may just be game over for me.
felicia: jack, yanzhi asked me to flip and help the old Ladder's people vote out wanjing. jack: but we were an alliance before. felicia: i know. but he said she will be a threat in the future. imagine her sweet-talking all the jury. jack: alright then, i shall see about it.
day 13 zhenyang: welcome back survivors. this is your immunity challenge. four members from each tribe will alternate throwing rocks at suspended ceramic tiles, breaking them to release four bundles of wooden puzzle pieces. collecting all four bundles and handing them off, three other tribe members will race to assemble the pieces with help from a caller on top of the tower. the first tribe to solve their puzzle wins Immunity and is safe from Tribal Council. You have 5 minutes to strategize.
*both tribes discussing strategies*
siaun, siangyong, rachel and jezabel throwing the rocks, priscilla, renhui and hanwei doing the puzzle and pohchoon is the caller for Snakes.
xinfang, jack, timothy and wanjing throwing the rocks, jianhong, seelek and felicia doing the puzzle and yanzhi is the caller for Ladders.
zhenyang: are you ready?
both tribes: yes.
zhenyang: GO!
siaun throws the first rock. Snakes released their first puzzle piece! jack throwing for Ladders but missed. a few more rounds of throwing by the members but none hit. jezabel hits and released the second puzzle piece! Snakes getting a huge lead there. Ladders continue to miss the tiles. rachel hits the third tile for Snakes and released the third puzzle piece! jack hits for Ladders! but the tile is still intact! wanjing hits a tile and released Ladders' first puzzle piece! siaun breaks and released the last puzzle piece for Snakes! they are starting to retrieve it! timothy breaks the tile and released the second puzzle piece for Ladders.
Snakes starting to assemble their puzzle piece with pohchoon's help as a caller. Ladders still struggling getting the last 2 pieces. wanjing released another piece for Ladders. and xinfang breaks the last one immediately after that and Ladders are now retrieving their puzzle piece. Snakes having problems as pohchoon cant seem to figure out the puzzle. yanzhi led Ladders to form up the sides first. great teamwork by Ladders there. pohchoon managed to get Snakes to form up one of the corners. Ladders making up alot of ground there. yanzhi working well with the other tribe mates. Snakes forming one more end. Ladders fixes in the last puzzle piece.
zhenyang: LADDERS WIN IMMUNITY! Snakes see you at Tribal Council tomorrow. Head back to camp and rest up.
*at Snakes tribe*
siaun: we have been losing and losing since the tribal switch. rachel: what to do? we dont have the synergy going. renhui: vote priscilla? siaun: i am thinking of voting off someone else off. renhui: who? siaun: i think we should talk to hanwei and jezabel about this. *hanwei and jezabel walking over* siaun: i was just about to go look for you. hanwei: they are going to vote you. but i want you to stay, you are crucial for us to win challenges in future. jezabel: yes and even if it takes to turn back on our previous alliance, i dont care. siaun: well, i have one candidate in mind...
siangyong: so vote siaun? priscilla: he seem to be an asset to us. pohchoon: did he find the immunity idol that time? siangyong: according to what we know, rachel doesn't have it. we aren't sure about siaun. pohchoon: ok then. we vote siaun. someone tell hanwei and jezabel about it. priscilla: i will go.
priscilla: hey, where were you two? jezabel: we were strolling along the beach looking for shellfish which could be dinner. hanwei: well are we still voting siaun? priscilla: siangyong seems to be for it. hanwei: hmm. alright then.
siangyong: renhui, we are going to vote off siaun. renhui: sure thing. we have been at it since day one. siangyong: great. by the way, what are you doing with them? renhui: oh nothing really.
rachel: do you think you should bring along your immunity idol? siaun: i am afraid hanwei and jezabel might turn their backs at us. rachel: i think we can trust them. if not they would not come and find us themselves. siaun: well, you have a point.
day 14 *at Tribal Council*
zhenyang: Snakes, its your first tribal council since the switch. tell me siaun, how do you find them compared to your previous tribemates?
siaun: i find that they are nice people and i can see everyone working very hard to win challenges. but of course, i miss the old Snakes people.
zhenyang: interesting. hanwei, what do you think about the new tribe?
hanwei: i like the Snakes campsite. they have all the rewards from previous challenges.
jezabel: yes, the chickens, the stable shelter, everything. and the people are nice to get along with.
zhenyang: what about you siangyong?
siangyong: well, personally i felt being left alone here. first kelvin's elimination, then yanzhi swapped tribes. i just dont feel safe here.
renhui: hey, you still have me.
siangyong: stop pretending. i saw you talking to siaun and rachel back there. and i know you guys are planning a backstab on me.
siaun: no we aren't.
rachel: how could you accuse us of something we didn't do? can't we just have a little get-together?
pohchoon: you should know what you are doing.
priscilla: just dont be too stunned at what might happen tonight.
zhenyang: alright alright. i can see that Snakes is still very divided even after the merge. well time's up. priscilla, you are up.
zhenyang: if any of you have the hidden immunity idol, it will be the time to use it.
