Previously on the Amazing Race, 11 teams of 2 with pre-existing relationships set out from Playboy Mansion, Los Angeles and raced 35000km to Taipei, Taiwan. Along the way, relationships were reformed (hanwei & kelvin) while others were shattered (celest & felicia). Others became sweeter (zhenyang & jezabel) and others turned sour (siaun & xinfang). They worked hard together and surpassed obstacles. However, it may be insufficent for some as they came in last and fell by the wayside.

Han Wei and Kelvin, who has come a long way from bickering enemies to good friends, faced ups and downs in the race. However, the new friendship they have forged brought them through all the tasks. But is that enough for them to battle it out against the 2 remaining teams top emerge as winers?

Timothy and Valerie had a very rocky start, hovering in the danger zone. However, with constant support and encouragement, they managed to move up the pack. Right now, this married couple have made it into the final 3. Could their true love overcome all their problems and propel them forward to win the race?

Zhen Yang and Jezabel had a bumpy race with a last place on a non-elimination leg. However, their respect for each other and kisses motivated them to do well and pushed them ahead of the other teams. Will it be this young couple who can overcome all odds and win the million dollars?

Tonight will be the final showdown between these 3 teams. Who will manage to outlast the other teams on the final leg of the race? And who will win the million dollars? Stay tuned to find out.

Leg 11

Departing the first at 9.47am, married couple Timothy and Valerie opened their clue

valerie: Fly 7300km to the their final destination city of Anchorage, Alaska. When you land, make their way to the outdoor adventure store, 6th Avenue Outfitters and pick up necessary gear for the journey ahead along with their next clue.

timothy: Sounds like we are going to do some outdoor activities! Dear you are great at it!

valerie: Let's get a flight to maintain our lead.

hanwei: Let's finish the race with a first place! That would look nice.

kelvin: Yup. To think what we can do with the million dollars.

hanwei: To the airport!

zhenyang: Let's go dear! We will win this!

jezabel: Alright darling! Lets thrash the others!

*kisses*

*at the airport*

timothy: Let's use the internet to find better flights.

valerie: Hmm.

hanwei: Where are the couples? I dont want them to get a better flight!

kelvin: Let's use the internet too.

zhenyang: I think we should just book flights directly.
jezabel: Ok.
zhenyang: Can i have 2 tickets to Anchorage?
ticket-lady: The earliest flight arrives at 1405 hrs.
zhenyang: Alright we will take that.
ticket-lady: Here you go

timothy: Let's book the flight which arrives at 2.15pm.
valerie: Quick it says seats are limited.

hanwei: Hmm. 2.15pm?
kelvin: That's the earliest i found too.
kelvin: Let's go book it!

ticket-lady: You are lucky. Here are the last 2 tickets for the flight.
timothy: Thank god!
valerie: HUBBY YOU WERE GREAT!

ticket-lady: I am sorry but we are out of tickets. I can put you on stand-by though.
hanwei: OMG history of the first leg is repeating.
kelvin: Don't worry. we will get on it.

*15 min before take-off*

ticket-lady: Han Wei and Kelvin, you are on the flight.
kelvin: THANK GOODNESS!
hanwei: I never felt happier than this moment in my entire life!

*Zhen Yang and Jezabel, Timothy and Valerie and Han Wei and Kelvin are on the same flight to Anchorage, Alaska*

*in Anchorage*

hanwei: Let's go! We have a slight lead!
kelvin: Taxi! To 6th Avenue Outfitters!

valerie: The boys are just ahead! RUN!
timothy: COMING!

jezabel: DARLING~~ WAIT FOR ME~~
zhenyang: Stop painting your face and start running!

*at 6th Avenue Outfitters*

hanwei: Grab the gear. I will read the clue.
kelvin: Alright.
hanwei: Make your way to the waterfront and find Ship Creek Boat Launch.
kelvin: Let's go! I see the couples!

timothy: Get the clue baby!
valerie: Get back in the cab! They boys just left!

zhenyang: Come on dear. I take the gear you take the clue.
jezabel: We are going to the waterfront~ WEEE!!
zhenyang: Oh stop it. Why is there one more set of gear left behind?

*on the road*

valerie: Wait a minute! The clue says we have to pick up necessary gear. Where is it?
timothy: OH SHIT! WE LEFT IT BEHIND!
valerie: This is so bad. Taxi can you go back to that place just now?

hanwei: The couple turned back! Wonder what happened?
kelvin: Well now we have a more comfortable lead!

zhenyang: They are turning back.
jezabel: Oh so it is them who forgot to take their gear!

*at Ship Creek Boat Launch*

kelvin: We are first! Detour! Cut the Cod or Grab the Crab!
In Cut the Cod, teams have to cut through several 50-pound Ling Cod and search for a miniature clue hidden in one of the fish. The task can be disgusting to some, but teams with the guts to dig into their work could finish fast.
In Grab the Crab, teams have to jump into the hold of a boat swarming with over 500 live crabs. Then, they had to search through the nipping crustaceans for a crab marked with Race colors. The task isn't disgusting, but teams will have to deal with hundreds of writhing crabs, and teams without fast hands could find themselves in a pinch.
hanwei: Let's do the cod?
kelvin: Alright!

zhenyang: Detour! I say we do the cod.
jezabel: Alright! I am sure we can slice through the task easily!

*at 6th Avenue Outfitters*

timothy: There it is!
valerie: All your fault for being so careless.
timothy: Let's not pick a fight here. It's the last leg. Let's finish this happily.
valerie: That is if you stop being so incompetent.

*at Cut the Cod detour*

hanwei: Ok let's start with this cod. How do we cut it?
kelvin: I dont know.. Using a chainsaw?

jezabel: Gosh this is super heavy.
zhenyang: Now you understand how i feel when i carry you =/

*20 min later*

kelvin: Dig through the cod and find the clue.
hanwei: OMG IT'S THERE! Travel 60 miles by taxi to a boat landing and take a high speed ride upriver to 20-Mile Glacier.
kelvin: We are going to take a speedboat!!

zhenyang: Where is the bloody clue?
jezabel: Relax darling. We can do this. Let's cut open another cod.

timothy: We are here!
valerie: Quick! There are still teams there! We can catch up!
timothy: Detour. Hmmm. We do the cod?
valerie: Alright.

*on the road*

hanwei: Good work back there. We just have to ensure we continue this smooth lead and we will win this.
kelvin: There is still a roadblock left.

*20 min later*

*at Cut the Cod detour*

jezabel: OMG! I FOUND IT! LET'S GO DARLING!
zhenyang: You rock dear! *kisses*

timothy: This is tough. The skin is like super thick.
valerie: Never give up come on we can do it!
timothy: Is that the clue? *squints eye*
valerie: OMG IT IS! HUBBY YOU ARE THE BEST!
timothy: Let's catch up with them!

*at boat landing*

hanwei: Let's choose this boat. It looks fast.
kelvin: Alright.

*a while later*

zhenyang: Come on dear! Let's get in this boat!
jezabel: I am so excited! This is going to be so fun!

valerie: RUN HUBBY!
timothy: I am running. I am running.

*at foot of 20-Mile Glacier*

kelvin: Oh no. We have to climb the glacier!!
hanwei: Just try. It is not as difficult as it seems.
kelvin: Alright, i will go first.

*15 minutes later*

kelvin: Halfway there!
hanwei: Quick! The other teams are coming!

jezabel: Alright, I will go climb first! I am an NPCC cadet so i think i can do such things easily!
zhenyang: Good luck dear!

timothy: This task should be a breeze for us!
valerie: Stop yapping and start climbing!

*kelvin reached the top*

hanwei: Woah. This is not as easy as it seems.
kelvin: Dont lose to them!

valerie: HUBBY DONT LOSE TO THE GIRL!!
timothy: I'm trying. I'm trying. The ice is slippery you know.

zhenyang: DONT LOSE TO THEM! PAWN THEM!!
jezabel: UUAARRGGHH! *pulls herself up with one last breath*

*jezabel reached the top*

zhenyang: This is not easy. It's like super slippery.
jezabel: GO DARLING!!

hanwei: I am not making any progress.
kelvin: Slow and steady wins the race.

*timothy reached the top*

valerie: Ok time to overtake them!
timothy: You can do it sweetie.

*5 minutes later*

*valerie reached the top*

timothy: Good job!
valerie: Take a breathtaking ride in a helicopter through the Alaskan wilderness to a clearing known as Merrill Field.Then, travel by taxi to Goose Lake Park where the next clue awaited.
timothy: Let's maintain this lead!

kelvin: OMG! A girl just pawned the boys.
hanwei: Totally embarrassing.

zhenyang: One more lift and...
jezabel: YOU ARE DONE!

*zhenyang reached the top*

jezabel: Ok. TIME TO CATCH UP!

kelvin: Come on you are reaching!
hanwei: I know. Stop complaining!

*hanwei reached the top*

*on helicopter ride*

valerie: The scenery is just amazing. It's something you will never see in your life.
timothy: This is really a once in a lifetime experience.

*at Merrill Field*

valerie: Roadblock.
In this roadblock, one team member has to face a field of objects they encountered along the race course. Each team is given fifteen recognizable items from different legs of the race. With stress and exhaustion at an all-time high, they have to place on a stage ten specific items that matched two different requirements. First, there could only be one item from each of the ten legs of the race. Second, only three items can be animals or animal by-products, one has to be a U-turn, two have to be items either at or brought to the Pit Stop, two have to be items of transportation with wheels, one of which was used at a Detour, and one has to be an item of transportation resembling the shape of a stick. While there are several ways to fulfill either of the requirements, only one correct group of ten items fulfilled both. The items are the tandem bicycle from Ireland, the Detour bike from Amsterdam, the camel milk and chicken from Burkina Faso, the Detour stilts from Lithuania, the gun fired at the Pit Stop in Croatia, the Blackberry in Italy, the U-turn in India, the cleaning man in Japan, and the tea cups in Taiwan.
timothy: My roadblock count maxed out already. You do it.
valerie: This is bad. I am not good at remembering things.

valerie: The U-turn has to be from India definitely. Hmm.

*valerie tries 1st group of 10 items*

valerie: Open.

*cluebox didnt open*

jezabel: ROADBLOCK!
zhenyang: You have to do it.
jezabel: OMG! It's a test of brain power.
zhenyang: This looks bad.

valerie: Maybe this is not supposed to be here. What if i change to this? And if the U-Turn is from Burkina Faso? The one we used?

*valerie tries 2nd group of 10 items*

valerie: Open.

jezabel: I remember the bicycle from Ireland where darling and I cycled. And that bicycle where darling and I refused to find in Amsterdam! And that camel milk which darling almost went mad squeezing in Burkina Faso And the chicken darling caught because i was scared in Burkina Faso. And the stilts darling had trouble completing while I breezed through it in Lithuania...

hanwei: Roadblock! I will do it!
kelvin: Good luck!

valerie: Okok. This milk is from the camel right? But where is that idiotic man come from?

*valerie tries 3rd group of 10 items*

valerie: Open.

hanwei: Let's randomly throw stuff on.

jezabel: And this gun is the one at Croatia where it scared me so much that i jumped onto darling's arms. And the blackberry whereby my mum called darling in Italy. And the U-Turn whereby darling and i chose not to use in India. And the cleaning man which in Japan whereby darling and I arrived hours after the rest. And the teacups which darling and I drank the boiling hot tea from.

jezabel: Open

jezabel: OMG! YAY! DARLING I DID IT!
zhenyang: THIS IS SUPERB!
jezabel: Find "the Cook's eye view of the Sleeping Lady."
zhenyang: Let's go!

valerie: The flowers are not for Japan. It's the CLEANING MAN!!

*valerie tries 4th group of 10 items*

valerie: Open.

valerie: Let's go hubby!
timothy: Taxi!!

jezabel: Travel on foot to downtown Anchorage to find the statue of the salmon hooker.
zhenyang: The married couples are right behind us! Let's run!

timothy: It's a footrace!
valerie: We can do it!

zhenyang: *panting heavily* Take a taxi to Girdwood Airport. This is the Finish Line of the race. The first team to arrive will win ONE MILLION DOLLARS. GO GO GO!
jezabel: AHH! TAXI!!

valerie: HUBBY QUICK!
timothy: It's the finish line! TAXI!!

*at Girdwood Airport*

*one taxi comes in and two people run past the eliminated team*

eliminated teams: *cheering wildly*

Yi Xuan: ZHEN YANG AND JEZABEL, YOU ARE TEAM NUMBER 1. YOU HAVE WON ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!
zhenyang: YES!
jezabel: We won darling!
zhenyang: This has indeed been a memorable experience.
jezabel: Yup. And i dont think we would have won if i took part with other people who aren't my darling. *kisses*

*seconds later*

Yi Xuan: Timothy and Valerie, you are team number 2.
timothy: Shucks. It's so close.
valerie: At least we knew we tried our best.

*minutes later*

Yi Xuan: Han Wei and Kelvin, you are team number 3.
hanwei: Haha. I knew we were goners when I started the roadblock. It waws tough as hell.
kelvin: At least we managed to complete the whole route of the race.

today was quite an interesting day. wanted to go jezabel's house to mug but ended up slacking for 3-4 hours? -.- i tell you arh, jezabel's house is like so super messy that i had to offer my help to help clear her living room. and she still had the cheek to treat me like a maid -.- and the sofa is like totally sleep-inducing la. more powerful than my bed. ya, and had a very wonderful time there.

and today i did a good deed!!!! *applause* at amk station this 2 blind woman approached me and celest to ask us to bring them out of the station. then celest train came so i asked her to go off first then i led them out. 1 of them said she lived nearby so she walked off herself. (i was like 'she's blind. how to walk out herself?') but she assured me that she will be ok. then i brought the other woman to amk hub to take 269. i was super happy la bcz i did a good deed today! my mum said that i should do more of these good deeds to 'ji fu'. haha.

blood suddenly flew out of my nose juz now when i tried clearing it. interestingly, it is becoming more frequent.

anyway, saw this poor little dog while walking home just now. i think it got abandoned bcz its leash and 2 small boxes of dog food was found near it. i opened the food and it gulped the food down damn fast. and i poured abit of my water bottle water for it to drink. then i wanted to bring it home but my mum refused. wanted to look for someone for advice but apparently, no one answered my call. so i left it there =(

oh and my bro said sth damn funny juz nw.

friday is chem spa day!!! aahhhhh!! i really dont want to get those shitty grades i got in pre spa. so i will work hard to get 8, 8, 8, 8, 8 for all 5 parts. i promise.

now at yongcheng's house staying overnight. it's a form of celebrating his bday by spending quality time i guess. this is a rather expensive week. so many ppl having birthday =x

will blog abit since i am quite free.

ytd went to crash co dinner and ate a slice of pizza =/ then celest, jezabel, xien and sihui (my new fren) and i went to 3rd floor outside audi and chit chat under the stars. it was a rather nice and engaging session. *the events later are top secret =)*

today, went to ah jen's house to celebrate her bday and chloe's bday since their bdays are like 14th and 15th may. when we sang happy birthday to chloe, i could sense that she was rather shocked. haha. then we had bbq for dinner. the food was nice and i must say, ah jen's bro was so nice bcz he was there the whole time helping us to 'peng kang'. haha. if is my sis she sure complain here complain there de. then came over to yishun and tada... i am at yc house.

Leg 9 Recap

Previously on the Amazing Race, 4 teams of 2 set out from Mumbai, India and travelled 6500km to Osaka, Japan. A bad flight decision threw Zhen Yang and Jezabel squarely at the back of the pack. Good teamwork between friends Celest and Felicia propelled them to the front. After the detour, Timothy and Valerie and Han Wei and Kelvin raced each other to the Pit Stop thinking they were last. However, it was Zhen Yang and Jezabel, who landed in Osaka just after the third team checked in, who reached the pitstop last. However, they were given a second chance as is was the last pre-determined non-elimination leg. 4 teams remain, who will be the final team to be eliminated from the Amazing Race?

Leg 10

Departing the Pit Stop first at 7.02am, Celest and Felicia opened their clue.

celest: Travel by taxi to the Floating Garden at the "building with a hole in it".
felicia: Let's ask around to see what weird building has a hole in it.
celest: Excuse me, may i know where is this place?
passer-by: It's the Umeda Sky Building. The Floating Garden is an observatory located on the roof.
celest: Thank you.
felicia: Let's get going.

celest: Let's try not to get into any quarrels and complete this leg smoothly again.
felicia: Let's try not pissing me off.

felicia: It's closed! Crap!
celest: It says here that it opens at 10.00am. The other teams are going to catch up.

timothy: Let's hope the building opens before Zhen Yang and Jezabel arrives.
valerie: With that Speed Bump, they are going down.

hanwei: This place is majestic.

valerie: Travel by high speed rail to the city of Taichung. Then, travel by taxi to the town of Jiji and find Acrobatics Jeep.
timothy: QUICK! THE TRAIN IS DEPARTING SOON!

*at Taipei airport*

zhenyang: We have to hurry!
jezabel: TAXI!!!!

hanwei: Don't lose to them!
kelvin: TAXI!!!

felicia: I am tired of running.
celest: *ignoring Felicia yet again* TAXI!!!

*at Taipei Main Station*

zhenyang: We have to travel by train.
jezabel: Crap. The other teams are here already.
*2nd train departs carrying Zhen Yang and Jezabel, Han Wei and Kelvin and Celest and Felicia*

*at Acrobatics Jeep*

timothy: It's a roadblock sweetie.
In this roadblock, one team member have to become a passenger in a car driven by a professional stunt driver, who will maneuver the vehicle onto a giant teeter-totter and then rock back and forth precariously 25 feet above the ground. Then, the team member will switch into an amphibious car, don a pair of goggles and, while holding his/her breath, be driven underwater for 17 seconds. First-come-first-serve.

timothy: We are team number 1.
valerie: I have to do it.
timothy: Damn! I wanted to do it.

*valerie performing the roadblock*

*moments later*

timothy: YOU ARE DONE! LET'S GO!
valerie: That's the Speed Bump! Wish good luck to the couple.

In Fire, make your way to Zhongzheng Park to participate in a mystical Chinese ritual by writing messages of luck, good or bad, on lanterns. Then, burn "spirit money" under the lanterns, filling them with hot air that would lift the lanterns into the sky and carry your messages to the spirits above. Once you have sent 20 sky lanterns into the air, you will receiveyour next clue. In Earth, make their way to Youth Park to participate in a local custom used to reduce stress. You have to take off your shoes and, with your bare feet, walk down a 220-foot path made of jagged stones, turn around and walk back.

Leg 8 Recap

Previously on the Amazing Race, 5 teams of 2 set out from Florence, Italy and travelled 6500km to Mumbai, India. Celest and Felicia fell to the back of the pack after completing their Speed Bump. However, they managed to edge out Poh Choon and Yan Zhi at the detour and U-Turned them. Dating couples Zhen Yang and Jezabel worked together and surpassed the other teams, checking in first at the Pit Stop. Poh Choon and Yan Zhi, who were unable to catch up from their U-Turn, came in last, resulting in them being the 7th team eliminated from the race. 4 teams remain, who will be eliminated next?

Leg 9

Departing the Pit Stop first at 1.25am, Zhen Yang and Jezabel opened their clue.

jezabel: Fly 6500km to Osaka, Japan. When you landed, travel by taxi to Kishiwada Castle and search the grounds for your next clue.

hanwei: ROADBLOCK!
In this Roadblock, one team member have to put on a hat and gloves as local cabbies do and transport a Japanese couple five miles through a maze of confusing, often one way streets to a specified address. You cannot invite a local to lead them or join them in the car and the couple cannot help you. Upon arrival at the correct address, the couple will hand you your next clue. However, the driver will also have to make their way back to your teammate before you read what is inside.

kelvin: A driving task? I will do it.
hanwei: Fine with me, I am horrible with directions.

felicia: Roadblock. This seems interesting.
celest: I have always wanted to be a taxi driver since young!

timothy: Let me drive!
valerie: Then, your roadblock will max out. Good.

hanwei: DETOUR! Sense of Touch or Sense of Smell
In Sense of Touch, make your way on foot to the Shimojima Building. Once there, use miniature robots which are controlled by cell phones to play a game of soccer against two robotic defenders. Once each team member has scored a goal the referee would give you your next clue. In Sense of Smell, make your way to the Saera Flower Shop, where only artificial flowers are sold. Once there, use your noses, and only your noses, to identify one real flower hidden among thousands of artificial ones in the two story flower shop. When you find a real flower, the shop owner will give you your next clue.

hanwei: Let's do the robots!
kelvin: I dont think we can identify what real flowers smell like.

celest: Let's do flowers.

Leg 7 Recap

Previously on the Amazing Race, 5 teams of 2 set out from Dubrovnik, Croatia and travelled across the sea to Ancona, Italy. There, teams were made to drive late into the night to the town of Empoli. Along the way, a roadblock coupled with a traffic jam caused Han Wei and Kelvin and Celest and Felicia to drop to the back of the pack. At Empoli, Han Wei and Kelvin scurried for the Fast Forward to keep themselves in the game, coming in first. Strong teamwork between Timothy and Valerie propelled them to another strong finish. On the other hand, Felicia encountered problems when she had fun on the Roadblock instead of finding the word. Things worsen when they bickered at the detour. Zhen Yang and Jezabel faced a car breakdown but still managed to edge out Celest and Felicia at the Pit Stop. However, they were spared elimination when Yi Xuan told them that this is the first of 2 non-elimination legs. 5 teams remain, who will be eliminated next?

In Paste 'Em, teams have to make their way to a marked underpass and use the provided supplies to properly paste a 6-panel Bollywood movie poster onto the wall. When the advertisement is complete, they will receive their next clue. The poster panels are large and unwieldy, and if even one panel is out of alignment, teams could have to take them all down and start again. In Thread 'Em, Teams have to make their way to Dardar Flower Market and find a marked flower stall, where they have to create a traditional wedding garland by threading 108 flowers in an alternating pattern. When the judge decrees that the garland had been properly made, teams need to deliver it to a nearby bridegroom and exchange it for their next clue. Threading flowers is delicate work, but teams with deft hands could find themselves moving ahead.

Once their deliveries are complete, they have to hand the foreman their two order slips and two receipts to receive their next clue.

had a super fun and exciting day today. first had 2 hours of maths, then 1 1/2 hr of gp, and lastly pre spa + chem revision. ok this is the sian part.

after that, i had a fun time but i am not going to post bcz its a secret and someone will get jealous over it =)

going out for big dinner with my extended family! bye people~

Ok i shall try my best to sound happy.

my grandfather is out of the hospital YAY! and my great-grandmother is recovering slowly, slowly but steadily YAY! anyway, some distant relatives from hong kong decided to come over to visit her. and my mum volunteered to put them up at our house. which means, i have to squeeze with my grandfather in my room again. on the bright side, it could be valuable bonding time with my grandfather! ok i am so excited. -.- nvm i shall hug my dolphin to sleep everynight =)

i love my dolphin! well this seems old news so how's this, I LOVE MY DOLPHIN MORE NOW! ok -.- probably bcz it has been with me for 13 years. and bcz of another certain reason ^^ jealous? haha. tmr going to meet bruno to collect money then going to turf city for dinner with the hong kong visitors. oh ya, and they tried talking to me in canto. i can understand but i cant reply so it feel like 'dui niu tan qing' bcz i was speaking super broken canto mixed with hokkien -.- grrrr. i hate myself.

Leg 6 Recap

Previously on the Amazing Race, 6 teams of 2 departed Vilnius, Lithuania and travelled 900km to Dubrovnik, Croatia. The 3 teams connecting through Prague faced a major problem when their connecting flight departed without them. On the other hand, teams connecting through Warsaw had an easy leg with Timothy and Valerie clinching first due to Valerie's military style pushing their team ahead. However, things weren't as smooth for good friends Celest and Felicia, who broke into many fights throughout the leg. But, Priscilla and See Lek, whose cab brought them in the wrong direction, still lost to them in a close footrace, causing them to be the 6th team eliminated from the race. 5 teams remain, who will be eliminated next?

Leg 7

Departing the pit stop first at 2.19am, Timothy and Valerie opened their clue.

timothy: Travel by bus to Split, then take a ferry to Ancona, Italy to receive your next clue.
valerie: WE ARE GOING TO ITALY! LET'S GO SHOPPING!
timothy: No. I dont want to get eliminated.

timothy: This is rigged. We have to be caught in this crap for 3 times in a leg.

yanzhi: I was thinking we are goners.

timothy: ROADBLOCK!
In this Roadblock, one team member has to soar through the skies over Tuscany in an ultra light. While aloft, they had to scan a 10-kilometer radius of the countryside below for the name of their next destination: Vinci. When they thought they spotted the hint, they had to signal their pilot, who would then bring them back down. Once on the ground, they would tell the instructor the word and, if correct, the pilot would hand them their next clue. There was a thirty-minute time limit per flight. Once the half hour was up, team members had to make a mandatory landing for refueling before continuing their search.

zhenyang: DETOUR! Invention or Tradition
In Invention, teams have to make their way to a nearby courtyard and chose a replica of a centuries-old crane designed by Leonardo da Vinci. They have to first assemble the crane, and use it to lift one large stone a foot off the ground. Then, they have to place a mirror underneath and read a clue printed on the bottom of the rock.
In Tradition, teams have to make their way to Piazza Guido Masi. There, they have to learn a traditional local flag routine. When they executed the routine correctly, the lead flagman will hand them a flag displaying the name of their next destination.

jezabel: Let's do the flags. It sounds cool
zhenyang: OK! I doubt we can assemble properly anyway.

pohchoon: Let's do flag.
yanzhi: Ok.

valerie: Let's do Invention. If come to the worse, I will just use brute force to lift it.
