At least things now have settled down. It should be a good thing for me to know that you are already unavailable, but why is there that lingering feeling that tells me that I should have been more courageous, more daring to take that step. Sat - Dinner + Tom's Palette at Shaw Towers with Siaun, Timothy, Wanjing and Siying! Then went drinking by the riverside at Clarke Quay with Siaun, Timothy, Wanjing, Siying, Valerie and Baowen!

Sun - JB with Mongkheng, Timothy, Norman, Waihoe, Yantao and Zeke!

And here comes an end to the Survivor and The Amazing Race season. Both had satisfying winners. Sophie Clarke for Survivor and Ernie Halvorsen & Cindy Chiang for The Amazing Race. It's been a long time since both had winners that I liked from the start. So yeah, been a great time watching it the past 3 months!

On a slightly heavier note, tomorrow is the day that I don't know if I am dreading or looking forward to. Release of results is definitely scary and intimidating, but a part of me wants to just get over with it. Be it good results or a flunk, just let it be. After all, nothing can change it now. I just don't get it why people are so afraid to get back their results.

Recently, SMRT has been getting slammed a lot because of faulty train services and 3 breakdowns in consecutively 3 days. Personally, I am not affected by it but I feel appalled at how Singaporeans generally reacted to it. Yes, you are frustrated, you are annoyed, but can't you just show some graciousness? All the talk about Singapore being a world class country and yet having its citizens slamming their own transport infrastructure is a like giving yourself a slap in the face. Just give constructive feedback and help them improve. Slamming them and criticizing just for the sake of criticizing will get us nowhere. Hopefully, Singaporeans become more mature and stop being so childish blaming SMRT solely for it. They may be at fault, I agree but not totally. Hopefully, this incident will tide over soon.

Lastly, the video of Aaron Tan is really a disgrace to Singapore. The whole video is just . 18 year old and he thinks he owns the world. Seriously, what a joke. Criticizing someone's English when he can't even pronounce 'please' properly. Good thing he is in the boy's home now. Hopefully, he grows up when he comes out.

I think I'm a very hopeful person. Hopefully, everything turns out well!

It's being a long while since I last blogged, and here I am. This IS going to be somewhat emo.

I feel like a failure, both academically and in relationships. I don't know why but I supposed today sort of affected me quite badly.

Firstly, about academics, I just don't understand why am I not scoring? This is so annoying! I don't do well in Maths (shocker!!), I don't do well in MATLAB (some retarded programming shit), I didn't score as well for a freaking easy Physics paper, I doubt I can pass Chemical Engineering Principles. All these problems are bogging down very heavily on me. I don't even know where to start my cleaning up. I don't understand lectures, I need help for my assignments, I spend so much time on lab reports just to get back Bs. I totally feel like giving up. Sometimes I agree that having a very very close friend can help but I think I haven't found that friend yet.

Also, why can't I find someone who is willing to be my listening ear every time I feel down? I can be one to others but weirdly, I can't find any for myself. I just totally suck at friendships. People outcast me in their cliques, people only find me when they need my help, people just treating me as someone to cover up for another person. I really don't understand why did it come down to this. I used to think I found a close group of friends, but because of something I didn't do, they based their judgment on another person's objective, and I got kicked out. I just somehow can't take it that they are all having fun laughing and HTHT-ing around me, and yet I am the one who have to sit aside and watch them enjoy.

Lastly, it's about boy-girl relationships. It's a bit weird to be typing this because I have no idea who will be reading but I need to get it off my chest, and I can't find any other better options to do so. If you have no interest in me at all, I think it would be better if you don't come looking for me. It's getting very hard to move on when you pop by my life every once in a while. And you know I don't clique well with them, so please kindly don't ask me to study with them. Even though, yes I am jealous that you keep hanging out with them, but yet I can't get the courage to get it out. Okay, I think I sound stupid and contradictory, but that's the thing about relationships. One side is always getting the harder hit. Maybe I should just come clean and risk the friendship, since I suck at maintaining friendships. I do not want to miss the chance as such opportunity don't come twice.

Here's a short post to conclude the end of my recess week.

It was I think more fun than productive. But who cares right? As long as the time spent is enjoyable, we shouldn't complain too much. However, despite the fun times we had clubbing, mugging and suppering, it was still a rough week for me. Stressed out due to midterms, and to a certain extent, emo due to somethings not meant to be shared here. However, it is because of this week that I found out how important Pikachu is to me. If not for those who stuck together with me throughout this week, it would have been a worse week.

And with that, I am ready to fight on as week 7 approaches and the dreaded midterms.

The full blast of uni life is setting in. The lectures. The tutorials. The lab reports. Freak, speaking of which, I have one which is due in 12 hours. I like this kind of life actually. Makes me feel much productive than rotting away at home playing MapleStory and DotA.

Well, I've been trying to make more friends so that I won't look like a lonely loser attending lectures alone. That feeling sucks, you know.

Anyway, just a random thought. If you can't accept friends who show more concern to you, you shouldn't receive it in the first place. Now that everything has happened and the situation has reached a point of no return, you are not the one who is injured.

Right now, I'm feeling like shit because some people whom I thought I was really close to, had disappointed me. Of course, it caused me to become emo. Haven't blogged for awhile now. This blog is so deserted that the tagboard is being piled up with nonsensical, random tags. Hence, I decided to take down the tagboard.

Union Camp was great. Well, at least to me. My OG was high enough, friendly enough, and handsome + pretty enough. Well, at least to the majority. Haha! Well, I feel that since you want to attend the camps. You should just let go and immerse yourself in the fun and enjoyment. What for be reserved? What for be glam? Camps are meant for you to make friends and have fun together, not for you to show off your Guess dress and your Prada handbag. I suppose that's something which I will never understand in my life. After going through Engin Camp and Union Camp, I have decided to go back next year as a senior. Be it a councillor, an OGL, or even a House Head, I will just accept it and enjoy myself like I did as a freshie!

I've been really lazy to update my blog since I know that there aren't any readers. But for the sake of practicing my English, I shall.

Last night's BBQ with SEXY was great! All, except for one, freshies turned up and one of our councillors who didn't attend the camp went too! It was a fun and enjoyable night.

And with 1 hour of sleep last night, I went to Pontian with my family (both paternal AND maternal side) today for a scrumptious lunch which included roast suckling pig and a damn huge fish.

After lunch, we traveled back down South and stopped for a random stall for durian! The durian was average, with some really good ones. And one of them fell off the shelf and rolled and poked my right foot. Now there are 7 holes there.

Then, we went back to JB where I had a half body massage, and a haircut (like finally right?) and a hairwash. Then another scrumptious dinner with lots of seafood.

Overall, despite my severe lack of sleep and severe hangover, it was a trip worth going!

It's time for a quick update!

Today has been a rather productive day! My Tuition Fee Loan has been approved by DBS bank! Yippee! And I am planning to pay the 10% per semester using the Post Secondary Education Account (PSEA) which means I don't have to worry about school fees until I graduate!

Then I went to take a look at how a small lawyer firm works. It's quite an interesting experience as I got to see how they prepare their cases before going to court. I didn't get to see much as they were working behind their cubicles and I was actually waiting for a document for my dad. My mum then explained to me that law firms like to rent offices at People's Park Centre as it is directly opposite the Subordinate Courts and the other random small scale courts in Singapore.

What a productive morning right? Yup! And I spent the rest of the afternoon sleeping until dinner time! Haha!

I love my Engin Camp OG! They have been very on for activities that have been planned. Like how we crashed Chess Camp and disturbed the freshies during SP night. Especially our Engin King - Shunkai! Haha! And there's a BBQ at the end of the week! They are really nice people to hang out with! So it's a good thing for me!

I shall end my post here! If I have time tomorrow, I might update Episode 10 of Survivor which I have delayed for almost 8 months!

A quick update before going to crash CHESS camp. No, no chess as in the brain-draining game, but the Chemical Engineering Student Society Camp. Since they refuse to accept me as a camper, I will attend as a crasher! I really wanna meet up with some friends soon. Okay, it's no point continuing to complain and blame all the factors around me. Yes, I am truly sad and disappointed that I didn't get a hall space. I suppose it's my fault to apply late. Perhaps, it's because I didn't have a strong cca back in ajc. Or maybe, they checked out my medical history and decided that a guy with a dislocated shoulder cannot help them win competitions. And maybe it's because I went to Taiwan instead of RHEX camp. It seems that everyone around me who applied for a hall, managed to get into a hall with me as the only exception. I suppose life don't always go your way.

It's truly frustrating to feel that you are the only person who can get things done. And that's exceptionally true in my case at home. My grandparents are both facing mobility problems, grandma has a half fractured knee, grandpa has a recent surgery done to his spine. And my dad has this attitude problem which all the heavy work has to be done by me, the one with a dislocated left shoulder. On top of that, I also have to ensure my brother does his homework, revises for his exams, studies for his spelling, finished up his enrichment lesson work and all sorts of nothing. I have to say that I am okay with doing such things, even though I admit sometimes I am doing them reluctantly, the thing that I cannot stand is the constant nagging and complaining I am receiving from ALL my family members. Can't I just have some time to myself to play 2x exp on Maple? Can't I go out with my friends without having to worry about such problems at home? Gosh, sometimes, I rather I wasn't born in this family. I don't even care if I'm poor and digging food scraps from dustbins. Okay maybe not that extreme.

On a lighter note, Maple is undergoing the Big Bang Patch and entering the new era of Episode 3. They have been patching Maple since 7am and is now still patching it. Hopefully, it gets done soon so that I can go kill some monsters to vent my frustration.

I find that this blog is going dead. The readers have drastically dipped since two years ago when everyone is still leading a carefree life. LOL!

Went to Yongcheng's place yesterday for his 21st birthday party! It was sort of a nice get together with the 4-3 people whom I've not met in a while. And also some other CH people whom I've also not seen since I graduated from CHS. I was thinking as we grow older, we will continue to walk into different paths of lives, and meet different people. But what is that factor which kept some of these people around you despite going ten or twenty years down the road? For instance, my friends from ten years ago, back in Primary 5H/6H, are no longer in contact with me. Friends from eight years back, those in 1-9/2-9, have also drifted apart. Hence, that brings down to 3-3/4-3, whom have been my longest friends fror six years. But could this friendship last? We will all find out as we get tested down the years in university.

I really hope I can meet up with those long lost friends that I haven't been in contact for years. Managed to meet up with Kelvin Woon last Saturday during his 21st birthday party. Seems like birthdays are nice gatherings to see old faces. Haha! And will be meeting up with Joel and Zhanwei after 2 years this coming Sunday. Hopefully, I will get in touch with my old friends and fulfill my NYR. Hahahaha!

It's been an exciting weekend with the General Elections 2011 polling day on Saturday. I didn't get to vote as I just barely missed the voting requirement by 14 days, and not because my GRC was a walkover. In fact, my GRC created history! First GRC which fell into the hands of the opposition.

Here's some of my personal opinions on this issue.

1) Having an opposition in the parliament is good as it acts as a sound for the citizens and help to keep the government in check on what should be done. However, is it worth to send in more opposition at the expense of an important figure? In this case, our foreign affairs minister? It's truly a sad incident that George Yeo has to step down as FA minister because of losing Aljunied GRC to the Worker's Party. However, we do not know what will happen in the future and hence, we shouldn't judge at this point of time. Hopefully it will be a good decision made by the voters of Aljunied and the results will be seen in the course of the next 5 years.

2) There have been a lot of unhappiness and disagreements with regards to Marine Parade's Tin Pei Ling making into the parliament by hiding behind our dearest Goh Chok Tong. I will agree that the way she conducted herself may not be appropriate and of the way that they politicians should. Also, her arguments made during rallies lack depth and substance. However, I want to put across this argument. One who can talk well does not necessarily mean that he can work well. Also, on the contrary, one who can't talk well does not necessarily he can't work well. So, I feel that Singaporeans should give Tin Pei Ling a chance for her to redeem herself and to unleash whatever potential she has hidden away.

3) One should always look at the whole picture when making decisions. When electing the ministers for the parliament, we should look all their achievements instead of just pinpointing on one mistake. We should also look at the whole 5 years of their governance instead of the 9 days of rallies. Yes, rallies are there to provide inputs and insights for the voters so that they can make a wise choice. However, the rallies are also there for the candidates to shoot down their opponents. And hence, they are biased and shouldn't be taken on face value and 100%. After attending the rallies, one should critically examine the arguments put forth by each team and not just based on what they say and jumping into conclusions.

4) Last but not least, I feel that the political playground is a cruel one. How could they bear to send such an old person like Chiam See Tong up for candidature when hes already so old! Other people at his age are already retired and enjoying life! But I truly admire and respect him for what he has done for Potong Pasir the past few years. Rumour has it that he's going to make a comeback during the next GE in 2016. But who knows what will happen then?

This is my first blog post written from my new laptop. Currently, it's undergoing it's first full scan. Haven't really used much of it yet so cannot give it a fair assessment.

This blog post is going to be about how people like to give biased judgments and why they tend to generalize so much.

Personally, I don't like it. I don't like how generalizations are passed down based on people's biased judgments.True, everyone is entitled to their own opinions of stuff, but can't they think of other people's feelings and emotions before passing down that opinion? Sometimes keeping quiet may actually be a blessing to the other party.

I will not point fingers at who and who. But I must say that this particular person in my life always claimed to be impartial. But the truth is, no one can be 100% impartial no matter what you say. You are definitely biased because you are human, and it is human to err. You will definitely prefer one option to the other option. So this person I mentioned, is also biased. However, even if you are biased, you should at least try to look at things from another perspective. This person refuses to look at the matter from another angle no matter what and will always insist that he/she is in the right. Hence, it makes life actually very difficult to communicate with him/her. It has already been so many incidents and there had been so much feedback, but he/she refuses to budge at all.

Okay, so I went out of point. But I really hope that one day, the person I mentioned will change for the better. I admit that I'm biased too. But at least I try my best not to trample over feelings with what I said. Note the word TRY. Haha. I guess that's life. Complaining gets me nowhere, but it makes me feel a lot better getting stuff off my chest.

Nothing much to share. Just that I realized Star Awards this year is quite stupid. They split it into 2 days and the actors/actresses have to attend it twice. Christopher Lee's outfit is still as atrocious as ever.

Had a monthly gathering with the camp guys last Sat at Timo's. Luckily I didn't go near the Kinect if not my unglam photos should be all over Facebook by now. Played mahjong the whole way! And won about $15. ^^ The jap curry is still nice!

Hmm, have been offered some temp job offers but have to push them down bcz of tuition on Friday. Maybe I should rearrange my schedule abit?

Why do people enjoy putting others down so much? Personally, I think it really sucks to be at the receiving end. This has been a real lousy week for me!

1) I developed cold sores on the top left part of my lips late last week. And it has been like an ugly patch of blistered skin growing on my lips. Freaking gross. And to make it worse, early this week, it cracked and started bleeding. And it has been bleeding on and off until yesterday when it finally decided to heal. Now, it's about gone. I did a bit of research on cold sores on wikipedia and guess what? It's normal for everyone to develop one. And according to wiki, it's at its healing phase now.

2) On top of cold sores, there had been a major outbreak of SIX pimples all over my face! Call me vain, but I never had so many pimples popping up on my face. And I look slightly pimply now. Right now, one is gone. The remaining five are spread on my left temple, right temple, left cheek, right cheek and nose! I hope all of them will disappear by like Tuesday!

3) CBS made a freaking huge mistake, uploading Episode 6 of The Amazing Race as 12 clips on the CBS official website. And thus, ruining the whole episode as well as prediction games. I felt quite sad for the game hosts on RFF and other reality TV sites. This is quite a serious issue imo. If they ever do such a stupiak thing again, I hope they get sued.

4) Some freaking guy is using my DeadLocked as a bot and it leveled 9 times in the past 3 days. Damn fast lo! People on facebook has been rather insensitive towards my feelings regarding this issue. Personally, I have trying to cast aside what the rest said but it is definitely causing me to be in such a low mood these days.

5) I lost in Mahjong yesterday! Okay, this is just something random which coincidentally happened during my 'down' week. But I'm okay with this actually.

Now, I'm dangling in between Aquila and Cassiopeia, thinking which world I should play in.

Hopefully next week would be a much better week! And seriously, I don't feel like going to facebook just to see all the hurtful and insensitive comments all the time.

The earthquake + tsunami which japan reminded me of how fragile life is. We can be doing very well one day, and another, some natural disaster just come by and take everything you have from you. This can actually be applied to one's life. You can be climbing the ladder to your successes and you only need one evil person to cause your downfall and make you go downhill. Hence, one should never be too complacent.

It also taught be to enjoy myself and live every moment to its fullest. Okay, I have always been like that, but seeing how much the earthquake + tsunami brought to japan only strengthened my philosophy of life. In fact, I think I should start doing things which I really feel like doing and not always following other people's ideas and comments. So what? They are not me, they would not know what I really want.

And I think I should go for a short run around my neighbourhood before I die of clogged arteries and muscle degeneration. Haha!

A quick update for the non-existent readers out there. How're you guys doing?

I'm sure everyone is having fun. For those people trying to survive through uni, hope you guys don't do badly for your mid-terms which just passed by!

Last Friday was Xinfang's great 21st birthday bash! It wasn't as wild as I would have expected, but still, everyone looks blissful. Personally, I felt that I drank a bit too much. I was actually tipsy that night before playing Citadels. I don't know what's the attraction between alcohol and me.

Another highlight in my life would be the Hongkong trip. It was well planned and well executed. Thanks to all those who made it possible!

I really love going overseas. It means seeing less of stinky old Singapore. Future trips coming my way:

I am very sad that Chinese New Year is ending. I love meeting up with friends and relatives for gatherings. I think it's a great opportunity for me to catch up with people whom I've not met for a long time. This year's CNY was not as happening as those that occurred on 2009 and before. I shan't go into the details but because of circumstances, we did not visit most relatives. In fact, I haven't seen most of my mother's extended family in the past 2 years! Also, gatherings with cousins are also severely limited. One good thing is that we made full use of whatever time we have together and it actually turned out more fruitful than what I had expected.

What an eventful week! Now that I'm an UNEMPLOYED CIVILIAN, I've got to find either a job or something to kill my time.

And in an instant, the CNY festive holiday is over. Did you guys collect loads and loads of red packets? Mine was not as much as before. And it's not because people started to think that I'm an old man who is supposed to have married. It's because of the passing on of relatives last year and thus majority of my family members are not allowed to give red packets. But it's okay, since the main idea of CNY is to allow long-lost relatives to meet up, gather and catch up on old times. Erm, maybe it's the red packets for us kids la.

But anyway, I've been gambling these few days and luck has been not on my side. Maybe it's shining on my backside because I lost a whopping $42 by playing 50cents blackjack in a day. Can you believe it? And that exact same day, my mum won $68 being our dealer. She insisted that her luck was good thanks to the bird who shit on her after our dinner at AMK S-11. Oh well, now trying to jio mahjong sessions to recuperate my losses.

Today was Grandma's birthday and we had high-tea at Carousel, Royal Plaza on Scotts. The buffet selection was decent, the quality was decent, but it's not very value for money. In addition, the timing for our meal was restricted to 3.30pm to 5.30pm. So it was rather rush for us. Personally, I like the laksa and the salmon sashimi there.

It's Chinese New Year again! And it's the season of red packets! Oooh, I love it!

Just had reunion dinner at Owen's again. Somehow, due to the massive amount of customers today, the standard of their food is seriously not up to standard. But, I shall forgive them because their food rocks my life every other time I went there! Haha!

This morning, a few of us went back to CHS to visit teachers. It was really nostalgic as we walked past the corridors, the classrooms, the assembly square, the staff rooms, the hall, the canteen, the staircase...... At that point, I had the sudden urge to go through my upper secondary school life with 4-3 again and enjoy what it's like to be carefree again.

This year, my house seriously don't have the CNY mood. No decorations. No never-ending display of tidbits and snacks. No cotton plant thingy for me to peel the outer layer off. And most importantly, it's the first time we celebrate CNY in the past 2 years. Lol, okay that was dumb.

So anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing all the relatives' faces in the next few days. And of course, looking forward more to my dearest ORD date (:

A short post before I sleep!

Just came back from Valerie's Bohemian Mama 21st birthday party! Totally had loads of fun and crap. It was held at Mind's Cafe with free-flow drinks and food! (Okay, I think I sound super cheapskate here.) Seelek totally cannot play Taboo. I suck at Uglydoll. The cuttlefish ball was uber delicious! The bike was damn nice, but it somehow cannot be folded despite being a foldable bike. Then, things became worse when we try to fold it by force. One of the screw/nut dropped out! Haiz. I think need to complain to Plaza Singapura's Carrefour. Haha!

Then, went to Laurent Bernard with Siaun, Timothy, Xinfang and Siying. Totally got high eating all the desserts! But the drinks are a little disappointing. Xinfang kept complaining her classic dark chocolate is not sweet at all. I find my caramel milkshake too sweet. Haha! But it reminded us of the Max Brenner visit in Brisbane with the rain and everything. Lol.

Alright, managed to put aside my busy schedule to give some attention to my half-neglected blog. In a flash of an eye (一转眼), January is almost over. It had been a rather eventful month with all my Saturdays used to celebrate farewells and birthdays. The most important one is of course 15th January, a.k.a. MY BIRTHDAY! Okay, that aside, people whom set out to Incredible India have all returned safe and sound. Waihoe is happily studying for his tourism and hospitality degree in Switzerland. Siaun and I turned 21, and get a chance to vote in the upcoming elections. Going back to camp on random days to get my ORD admin stuff done. All that's left now is Valerie's 21st birthday party and my medical FFI and we will bid goodbye to January.

I've learnt quite some stuff in just the first month of 2011.

1. As one grows older, somehow or another, responsibilities just automatically pile up on your shoulder. Lol. For instance, I feel more obliged to teach and guide my younger brother as he is growing up. I'm already giving voluntary tuition to him for Maths. Not only that, my parents have started to nag me to get a job and stop lazing around at home. True, I have been glued to the computer for the first half of the month, and glued to my PS2 for the second half. They kept on insisting that being an adult means I have to stop my gaming habits and start being more productive. They are even sponsoring my driving lessons in an attempt to stop me from gaming so much.

2. Money is very hard to earn. Lol. Now that I'm going to ORD, money will not be flowing into my account freely. Luckily for me, I had savings and the red packets I received on my birthday, if not I would have already starved to death. On top of that, this year, everyone is turning 21 and thus money will have to flow out to buy presents for those whom are dear to me, which practically means all my friends. I have also being trying to balance the time I spent outside and home such that I won't have to spend too much. Also, I have been trying to go budget during all my outings. So far, it's quite successful, so Priscilla, I will have to make an exception for you if you insist. Hahaha.

3. Too much Maple and DotA is actually quite sickening. Lol. Okay, I think this has been what everyone is trying to tell me but I have been ignoring them. It actually takes one to experience it to truly understand what it feels. Well, I cut down a lot on Maple already, and I only play DotA when jio-ed by friends. So I guess that's a good start for me.

4. True friends are hard to come by and you should really treat them with all your heart. And yes, this actually struck me quite hard after my birthday. I finally understand who are those friends who are deserving of your attention and kind treatment. Whereas there are some others whom are just acquaintances, or some who really just approach you because they want some benefit from you. I really do not want to dwell too much on this as I dunno who reads this and I don't want people to get the wrong idea. But then, I just have to say thanks to those friends who actually have been standing my side all these while. You know who you are.

I'm quite surprised that I have the motivation to maintain my blog for three years and running/going strong. I dunno why but I just find coming here to ramble some random gibberish is actually very good for de-stress purposes. In fact, by writing about something, my mind is able to put another thing of absolutely no link at ease. Okay, my habit of talking nonsense is coming back.

Anyway, went out with Mama Neo to celebrate her 21st birthday, a ritual to welcome her into her womanhood. Okay that was nonsense.

It was a promise made 365 days ago and I am proud to say that I fulfilled it! That was gibberish too.

Back to the point, we met at Somerset at 6pm. I reached earlier and went window-shopping at 313. Somehow, I just love window-shopping, the service staff treats you super nice and you don't even have to pay 10% service charge for it. So anyway, 3 things caught my attention, a pair of shoes from Aldo, a pair of jeans from Levi's and a shirt from Esprit. And I'm going to try and scam my mum to go shopping with me before CNY! Okay, enough of the digression.

So anyway, we met up, had dinner at Ippudo @ Mandarin Gallery, then wanted to play pool. Being 2 out-of-the-well frogs (a.k.a. sua ku), we went up to the 8th floor to find the K-pool missing. So we went to sing K. It was super duper fun since I had not sung K for a damn long time. After that, we went to Swensen's for her FREE firehouse and went home after that. Okay my life is boring.

Anyway, I just remembered K-pool shifted to 4th floor. Like now. -.-

Just returned from Yuyan's 21st birthday bash at Aloha Loyang. There was a lot of people there and loads of food. And the bbq prawns and pork chop was superb! It was a great party, imo. How I wished mine was as big-scale as that. It was really a showcasing of the people who cared about you and how they put in the effort to attend an event which is important and memorable to your life.

The food was great.

The cake was great.

The mutual cake-smashing was great.

The mixture of vodka and wine and beer was great.

The sitting down and chit chat sessions among the cousins was great.

Somehow, I can feel the growing of our batch of cousins. The transition between the young kids and the teenagers and the young adult phase is somehow quite obvious. As we were talking, I suddenly recalled those times whereby we were playing blind-mice in a bedroom, or block-catching in a block. To the times whereby we start to drift apart because we have our own lives to live. And ultimately, the catching up of good old days. I would say that the bunch of us has definitely grown closer throughout the recent years. I really hope that we can be as close to each other as we possibly can. This will be my promise to you guys (:

Went to town yesterday with Mongkheng, Yantao and Bowen to window shop and change my birthday gift from 13/07. Had quite a hard time finding Knightsbridge as it's a new shopping mall in Orchard and I had absolutely no idea where it was. But after much effort, we managed to find it. Yantao bought himself a new CK T-shirt at $55 (it was on sale, 50%), Bowen bought a pair of Zara jeans for $80 (dunno how much discount) and we got caught in the rain. In the end, Mongkheng and I didn't buy anything, and I spent almost $40 on food at Ajisen Ramen, The Marmalade Pantry, Food Republic and Xin Wang Taiwan Cafe. It was a fun day. Lol.

Turning 21, I don't feel any major changes happening to me. Well, at least physically. But I'm still trying to learn to be more sensitive to others and how I can help the people around me more.

Just like yesterday, I volunteered my services reluctantly at my parent's workplace because their clerk went on leave. And being an admin personnel for the past 1 year and 9 months, I seem to be quite suitable for the task. But what I need to do was just filing up 2009 & 2010 invoices and some accident reporting and e-filing. Took a bit of time off to play Dota AI though. Haha.

Then today, I went to the market with my mum to get stuff for the party later. I was super shagged out because I was Dota-ing with YY, MK and his bro till like 5.30am. And so, I just sat there and my mum just kept loading food on me and the trolley we brought. Made me smell ultimately fishy.

I am totally looking forward to the party later. It's a good chance for different groups of my friends to know my other friends better and also, maybe a life-changing experience for me.

Turning 21, I shall blog more about it probably tomorrow or on Monday.

Oh well, I was happy mapling and then, they had to do an urgent game client patch. And thus I was disconnected. I am not really sure what I wanna say on this blog post. Maybe except that my birthday is coming! Okay, I think I've talked about this so much that you readers are very sick of it.

Today is Siaun's birthday. And hence, here's a very big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the birthday boy. You are now 21 and please please please stop pulling disgusting stunts like forcing the beancurd to ooze out between your teeth and stuff. Haha.

Coincidentally, today is also the 1 year death anniversary of one of my great-grandmother. Though I'm not that close to her, I still feel quite sorry for her. She was disowned by one of the granduncles, tossed around the other granduncles and ended up living alone in AMK. I remembered we went to her house one of the recent years for CNY and she was so happy that we visited her. That smile she gave us was so genuine and warm. Greatgrandma, I really hope that you are enjoying yourself where you are now. At least, you don't have to face the face of those disgusting people. =/

Had a fun filled day today! Totally packed and eventful and I was rushing from place to place.

Had lunch with Priscilla, Siying and Seelek at Causeway Point. Then we went to Siying's house to play mahjong, cards and all sorts of exciting activities that you can think of. Seelek kept on persuading us to buy CNY cards to help her for her CCA. Being kind and caring souls, Siying and I each decided to buy a card. During mahjong, Seelek and Siying somehow become more pro than usual and managed to win quite a bit. But I think it ended with me winning the most (as usual).

Then, I rushed down to Clarke Quay to meet up with Zhenyang, Hanwei, Celest and Jezabel. As Celest and Jezabel will be at Malacca next week, they celebrated my birthday with me today. We had dinner at Ma Maison and dessert at Lauren Bernard Chocolate Bar. Super satisfaction but super sinful. It was really quality time spent with quality people. I am really thankful and appreciative of such friends who care about me. To me, it's really those small thoughts and effort which count. Thank you very much!

On a random note, I think I am addicted to travelling overseas with friends! It's really super fun and you can do whatever you like! My birthday wish this year will be to be able to go overseas more often with different groups of friends so that I can get to know them on a deeper level. :D

Just came home from sending Waihoe off to France/Switzerland. He's going to go off to obtain his degree in hotel management and will be away for a year. Being a very close friend and bunkmate of his since May 2009, it's a little sad to see him go for such a long period of time. Heck, it really pains me to see anyone close to me go overseas for long periods of time. I think that it really take a great deal of courage to step out of your comfort zone in Singapore to study overseas. Rachel is another example. I really respect them and wishes all of you guys overseas to do well in your studies! Make Singapore and yourself proud!

I just realized time actually time passes quite slow when I'm rotting at home play MapleStory and Defense Of The Ancients (yes DotA for those who don't know). The previous blog post was posted late last night and yet it felt like days ago.

Getting back to the point, it's only 11 days and I will officially declared as an adult. A 21 year old adult. A bit scary for me leh. And I don't really want to know what Yantao has planned for me. And one thing to clarify, please DO NOT buy me @-cash or anything that is related to MapleStory if not I might just beat you up.

I want to write a very long blog post, but it usually end up with lots of complains or me just being whiny. So keeping it short and sweet, I'm totally looking forward to my adulthood! Bring it on!

Sometimes, I just wish that the box next to me contains all the answers I'm looking for. It's tough to be living up to other's expectations not knowing what they are.

Anyway, I'm not emo. I just feel that I have been ignorant to most things around me. As I am stepping into the adult phase, perhaps it's time for me to take up more responsibility and understanding the world around me better.

It's been a rough year for me. It started with me going back to Tekong for my recourse. Met great friends, Jonathan Chiam (BMT BUDDY!), Chun Peng and Jin Tong (POKEMON BUDDIES!) and the rest of Yankee Platoon 1 Section 3.

However, I also experienced 4 deaths of my extended family members. It's the first time I was involved so heavily in funerals.

After Tekong, I went back to 23 SA to welcome the new batch of GAs posted in and met more great friends. Yan Tao, Zeke, Zheng Wei and so on.

Then, I was also promoted from REC to 3SG in the short months. Increased workload and responsibility. Camp discipline also stepped up.

Volunteered in the inaugural Youth Olympic Games in August. It was a fun filled event and I felt that I am really involved in Singapore's affairs for the first time in my life.

In September, I went for my first holiday since enlisting in Apr 2009. Hong Kong with family, and followed with Malacca with camp mates. Then, I went to Oklahoma for Ex Daring Warrior for a whopping 30 days in November. And it ended with Brisbane and Gold Coast in December with JC friends.

And ultimately, the handing over of 23 SA Chief Admin Supervisor to my understudy, Harold.

Last but not least, I have to make special mention to these guys. Without them, life in camp would suck. Thanks to Mong Kheng, Yang Yi, Timothy, Norman and Hayden for being such great friends throughout this year, tanking COS and all sorts of rubbish together. Now that we are coming to the end of our NS term, I hope our friendship will last far longer. (:

And last but not least, I shall review my New Year Resolution for the year of 2010.

Oh well, here I am doing my 3rd duty for the week. And while trying burn some time looking at other people's blogs, they didn't update. Hmmm, it seems to be an increasing trend that blogger is being used much less. Due to the presence of twitter and facebook, blogs have turned into an obsolute social network tool. Personally, I still like to blog as it allows me to pen down my thoughts, vent my frustrations and share my happiness. And the best part is it wouldn't talk back to me, or be a wet blanket.

It seems that the ORD mood is in town. Or rather, in my bunk. For the past 2 weeks, the bunk hasn't been fully present in camp. Kinda miss those days whereby everyone is sitting around the table, eating snacks and talking cock. For me, tomorrow is my last working day, then I have combat shoot on Friday, a COS on 28th Dec and it's off/leave till ORD! Sounds happy right? Well, I don't know if that's what really making me happy. My boss just asked me if I'm interested in extending my service. Well, to provide administrative support to the unit and stuff. Can't talk much about it but it has set my mind thinking, especially when I'm not the only one with such thoughts. Will think through carefully and not make a hasty decision!

And once again, thanks to Zhenyang, Hanwei, Priscilla and Weiting for being the beacon of light during my dark time. Sometimes, it's these small gestures which tell you who your true friends are.

Episode 8 Recap

Previously on Survivor, a tribal switch caused the castaways' game plans to change. The newly formed Zephyr tribe has the upper hand as they maintained a winning streak over Torrent. After voting out 3 members in a row, Torrent is down in numbers. At the same time, Ruth's position in Zephyr is rocky. Being without any alliance member, she caught a break by finding the hidden immunity idol. At the reward challenge, Torrent finally broke free from their losing streak by winning the bowling game. Then, they went on to win the immunity challenge by inches, sending Zephyr to tribal. Before tribal, Ruth was sure that one of the three ex-Zephyr girls will be the target and is ready to use her idol. However, feeling threatened by the alliance between Priscilla and Siaun, Pohchoon decided to turn against one of them to break up the pair. At Tribal Council, Ruth was targeted by Siaun for playing a loner game. However, the tables turned when Siaun admitted his closeness with Priscilla. This worried many of the Zephyr members as they went to vote. In the end, Ruth was spared elimination when Siaun got blindsided, receiving 4 out of the 7 votes, causing him to be the ninth person voted out and the first member of the jury.

Night 21

*Zephyr camp*

Priscilla (confessionals): I was totally shocked at how the votes turned out. Apparently, 3 people flipped sides and now I find myself in trouble.

Priscilla: *approaching Pohchoon* What happened? Why did the votes go to Siaun instead?

Pohchoon: I had no choice. You two were too close and I don't want to be blindsided by you two.

Priscilla: You just ruined our plan. We were in such a good position to enter the Final 4. Now, we not only lost our strongest player, but we are even with the Zephyr girls.

Pohchoon (confessionals): Hmm, maybe it was the wrong time to blindside Siaun. But this game is so unpredicatable! You won't know what's coming next!

Day 22

*Zephyr camp*

Ruth (confessionals): I am so glad that I survived Tribal Council last night. Somehow, there's an internal strife within the previous Torrent members and they decided to vote one of themselves out. Looks like there's a crack for me to advance into.

Baowen (confessionals): I somehow feel that Ruth is rather sneaky but Siying insists on working with her! I really don't know what to do now. Ahhhhh!

Waisin: Guys, TREEMAIL!

Priscilla: We have to rank our tribe members from strongest to weakest.
Pohchoon: It looks like an endurance challenge.

Priscilla: I think the girls will have an advantage being light and have smaller feet.

Ruth: But who is going to sit out?

Pohchoon: I think I should sit out. I might not hold out as long as you guys.

Baowen: Alright. So how should we rank this?

*Torrent camp*

Jenyun: Guys, we have to rank ourselves.

Jianhong: Hmm, it looks like an endurance challenge to me.

Zhenyang: We should put the guys in front. It says from strongest to weakest afterall.

*meanwhile*

Timothy (confessionals): I am still trying to find the hidden immunity idol. I cannot guarantee that I am safe until we win the next immunity challenge.

Timothy: It should be this stream. Now, to find underneath the rocks. *starts to overturn rocks* Oh my god! I found it! This has to be it!

Yixuan: Come on in guys!

*Torrent walking in*

*Zephyr walking in*

Yixuan: Torrent, getting your first look at the Zephyr tribe. Siaun voted out last tribal council.

Timothy: Wow.

Yixuan: Alright, let's get to today's challenge.

REWARD CHALLENGE: CHIMNEY SWEEP

Each tribe member will use their arms to brace themselves between two walls, while their bare feet are perched on very narrow footholds. Every ten minutes, the castaways will move to smaller footholds. Once the third and final foothold has been reached, they will stay there for as long as possible.

Yixuan: You will be matched up with someone from the opposing tribe. That's where your ranking comes in. First pair, Ruth and Timothy. Second pair, Siying and Jianhong. Third pair, Waisin and Zhenyang. Fourth pair, Baowen and Jenyun. Fifth pair, Priscilla and Jezabel. To score a point, you have to outlast your opponent. The first tribe to three points win reward. Want to know what you are playing for?

Castaways: Yes!

Yixuan: Winning tribe will be treated to a feast from Outback Steakhouse, where you will have steak, potatoes, vegetables and wine to go along with it. Definitely worth playing for. Zephyr, you have one extra member to sit out, who's it going to be?

Pohchoon: I am.

Yixuan: Pohchoon sitting out, take a spot on the bench. Everyone else get into position.

Yixuan: For reward, survivors ready, and get onto the first foothold.

Yixuan: Alright, the challenge is officially on the way.

*10 minutes later*

Yixuan: It's now time to move onto the second foothold. You have 10 seconds to move. If you fall off now, you will be out of the challenge. Everyone moving up slowly. Priscilla wobbling a little. Jianhong almost losing his foothold. Everyone is now on the second foothold. And the challenge goes on.

*10 minutes later*

Yixuan: Alright, everyone move onto the smallest foothold. You have 10 seconds to move. Same rules apply. Ruth and Jenyun moving into position very quickly. Zhenyang moving slowly and steadily. Everyone else squirming into position. The foothold is smaller than a quarter of your foot. It's going to be very uncomfortable. Waisin shifting uneasily. Baowen looks like she's giving up.

Jianhong: Oh crap!

Yixuan: Jianhong slides off the foothold! SIYING SCORES ONE POINT FOR ZEPHYR! Zephyr leads 1 - 0.

Siying: Thank goodness you are down. I can't hold on much longer myself.

Yixuan: We are playing to three. The remaining 4 pairs going strong. Timothy buckling a bit. Jenyun trying to get back onto her foothold.

Priscilla: Come on, give up already.

Jezabel: Why don't you drop out first?

Siying: Come on Priscilla, don't give up!

Priscilla: Oh no.

Yixuan: Priscilla drops out of the challenge. JEZABEL SCORES THE FIRST POINT FOR TORRENT. We are now tied, 1 - 1.

Zhenyang: Good job Jezabel.

Yixuan: 3 pairs remaining. Ruth making this look easy. She's yawning already.

Ruth: Timothy, please drop out now.

Timothy: Haha! Nice try there.

Baowen: Ahhh! I've had enough. I'm stepping down.

Yixuan: Baowen stepping down. JENYUN SCORES AGAIN FOR TORRENT. Torrent now leads 2 - 1. If Ruth or Waisin steps down, Torrent will win the challenge.

Waisin: This is bad.

Ruth: God, please give me strength.

Yixuan: Ruth is the only girl left in the challenge. Zhenyang is showing fatigue. Timothy looks tired.

Waisin: I can't take this anymore.

Ruth: Waisin, you can do this.

Timothy: I'm having cramps on my foot already.

Zhenyang: This is indeed uncomfortable.

Yixuan: Timothy and Waisin stepping down at the same time. TORRENT WINS REWARD!

Yixuan: Alright, Zephyr, I've got nothing for you. Grab your stuff head back to camp.

*Zephyr walking out*

Yixuan: Congratulations Torrent. Go ahead and enjoy your reward.

Jianhong (confessionals): I'm really thrilled to have this reward as it really boost our morale and our protein intake! We are doing very in challenges now and I hope that it won't end.

*Torrent reward*

Zhenyang: Great job guys! Now we just have to win the next challenge and Zephyr's numbers will be even!

Jenyun: It's our chance to get back in this.

Jezabel: Cheers!

Timothy: *thinking to himself* They make it sound like everyone is a happy family here when the fact is that I'm getting voted out once we lose the immunity challenge.

*Zephyr camp*

Ruth: I wanted the reward so bad!

Baowen: Yeah! Me too!

Waisin: It was really hard to hang in the challenge. I thought it was easy but in fact, it requires a lot of strength and your posture must be correct.

Siying: Let's not talk about it and work harder for our next challenge!

Ruth (confessionals): Personally, I want to vote Waisin out. He hasn't been performing that well in the past challenges as compared to Siaun and he is on good terms with Pohchoon. I am afraid that they might pull off something disastrous.

Baowen (confessionals): I think Ruth is currently on the outs now. But she's pretty strong in challenges. Voting her out now may not be the most ideal situation. On the other hand, I want the guys out early so that we can have a all-female alliance.

Day 23

*Torrent camp*

Jianhong: I wonder where's the hidden immunity idol. We haven't had any clues yet right?

Zhenyang: True. It's already 23 days and we only witnessed the one played by Siying.

Jenyun: You think Timothy or Jezabel has the idol but never reveal it?

Jianhong: That's very likely.

Zhenyang: Looks like someone is being sneaky around here.

Jenyun: Jezabel, do you have the hidden immunity idol?

Jezabel: Nope. Why are you asking?

Jenyun: Don't you find it weird that it hasn't entered play yet?

Jezabel: True. Maybe it's with Timothy?

Jenyun: Then that should be it.

Jezabel (confessionals): If Timothy has the idol, I'm afraid he might use it on me. I flipped against the alliance and he might still hold a grudge against me.

Day 24

Yixuan: Come on in guys.

*Zephyr and Torrent tribe walking in*

Yixuan: First things first, let me take the idol back.

Yixuan: Once again, immunity is up for grabs. For today's challenge,

IMMUNITY CHALLENGE: STRUNG OUT

Both tribes will start on a platform floating in the water. One person at a time must move a bag of puzzle pieces along a rope and through a series of obstacles to the finish mat. Once all five bags have been collected, you must use those puzzle pieces to build a totem pole.

Yixuan: First tribe to correctly assemble the totem pole wins immunity and safe from tonight's vote. Losers go to tribal where one of you will be the tenth person voted out of this game. Zephyr, you have one extra member, choose who are you going to sit out, keeping in mind you cannot sit Pohchoon out this challenge.

Priscilla: I'm sitting out.

Yixuan: Alright, Priscilla take a spot on the bench. The rest of you given a mintue to strategize.

Yixuan: For immunity, survivors ready, GO! Jianhong and Waisin first out on the course. Both of them neck-in-neck as they make their way through the obstacles. Jezabel and Pohchoon heading out now. Jezabel taking a small lead over Pohchoon when Pohchoon got stuck at the obstacle. He's coming up for many breaths. Navigating the bag of puzzle pieces underwater is not easy. Jezabel is back! Timothy on the course for Torrent. Pohchoon tugging at his bag. It finally got free. Timothy flying through the course. Siying is out for Zephyr. Timothy is back and Zhenyang sets out! Siying slowing down. Zhenyang is catching up with Siying. Both Zhenyang and Siying coming back at the same time. Torrent having a 1 bag lead over Zephyr. Jenyun and Baowen running the course. Baowen trying her best to pull away from Jenyun but both of them are very close. TORRENT HAS ALL 5 BAGS! THEY CAN START ASSEMBLING THE TOTEM POLE! Ruth heading out trying to make up alot of lost time. Zhenyang and Jianhong assembling the base together. Jezabel and Timothy fixing up all the middle parts. Jenyun helping them. Ruth comes back with Zephyr final puzzle bag. ZEPHYR CAN START ASSEMBLING THE TOTEM POLE. Torrent having a huge lead. Pohchoon and Ruth putting the base of the totem pole up. Torrent working very well. Timothy and Jianhong putting the final piece in. TORRENT WINS IMMUNITY!

Priscilla: Oh crap.

Yixuan: Congratulations Torrent on winning your fourth challenge in a row. Here's your immunity idol *passes to Jenyun*

Jenyun: Thanks.

Yixuan: Zephyr, I've got nothing for you except for a date with me at tribal council tonight whereby one of the six of you will be going home. You have the afternoon to figure out who that will be. Grab your stuff and head back to camp.

*Zephyr and Torrent tribe walking off*

Ruth (confessionals): It was really frustrating to see another loss and it was out of my control. I really didn't want to go to tribal council because I know my name will definitely pop up. So, looks like my idol have to be played tonight.

Siying (confessionals): Tonight's tribal council is going to be a shocker. No one other than me knows that Ruth has the idol and I'm thinking whether to tell the rest about it. If not, I could work with Ruth to get rid of either Pohchoon or Waisin so that the people remaining are all in an alliance with me.

Pohchoon (confessionals): We lost immunity again and we are going to tribal council. And I guess I have to vote for Ruth to appease Priscilla.

Priscilla (confessionals): Tonight, Ruth will be receiving the votes mainly because I don't want to vote any of my alliance member. Hopefully, nothing will surprise me like the previous tribal council.

Priscilla: So, tonight is definitely Ruth right? I don't want my name appearing in those votes.

Pohchoon: Yes. I need you to stick around for my plan to work. If not we would be down in numbers.

Priscilla: I'm glad you know my importance.

Pohchoon: Waisin, we have to vote Ruth out. She seem to be a very strong competitor. I don't want her winning the challenges in future.

Waisin: What about Priscilla? Is she still mad that we voted out Siaun? If so, we have to cut her loose before she deals damage to us.

Pohchoon: I know, but we need her for numbers now. If we enter the merge in the Final 10, we will have 5 people on our side and it's easy to swing one vote.

Waisin: I hope you know what you are doing.

Priscilla: Girls, we have to vote Ruth out.

Baowen: I am okay with writing down her name.
Siying: *feeling uneasy* Hmm, I guess so.

Baowen: I'm going to get some fruits.

*Baowen walks off*

Siying: Priscilla, Ruth has the hidden immunity idol. And she knows she's going out tonight so she's definitely playing it.

Priscilla: Are you serious?

Siying: I think we should split votes. Let the 3 of them vote Ruth then we vote out someone else.

Priscilla: Why did you share this with me and not Baowen?

Siying: I find that I can trust you better. And I am sincere in forming the final 3 alliance with you.

Priscilla: Alright.

Siying: The thing is I don't know who is Ruth going to take out.

Priscilla: Why not we vote out one of the guys. At least the girls will have control then.

Siying: You mean Waisin or Pohchoon?

Priscilla: I don't know. Waisin is like harmless. But Pohchoon is rather manipulative.
Siying: I will talk to Ruth to see who she's voting.

Siying (confessionals): I decided to share my information with Priscilla to win over her trust. I find that if I can keep Baowen and Priscilla close, it's very likely that we can make it into the final 3 together. And that's my ultimate aim.

Priscilla (confessionals): I am very happy that Siying shared the information with me. Now I'm in a dilemma. I can either go with Siying's plan and give her more control, or I could tell Pohchoon about this and blindside either Siying or Baowen. Both ways, I will be pissing off a jury member and the best I could go is still the final 3.

Siying: Ruth, I think you know everyone is gunning for you.

Ruth: Yeah, sort of. I am going to try and squeeze into the cracks.

Siying: Who are you going to vote then?

Ruth: I was thinking Waisin because he is very close with Pohchoon. And I'm afraid they might do some damage.

Siying: Hmm, oh well, as long as it isn't me!

Ruth: Don't worry, it won't be you. I was thinking between Priscilla and Waisin. Both of them are quite weak and has been causing us to lose challenges.

Ruth (confessionals): I am going to try to save my idol for tonight. And try to squeeze up any last minute alliances I can form.

Ruth: Pohchoon, I know you are going to vote for me but I can give you a better deal.

Pohchoon: What do you have to bargain?

Ruth: Vote for Waisin and we can make it further and I have this *reveals hidden immunity idol*

Pohchoon: Oh! Now that changes things.

Ruth: If we can get rid Waisin and enter the merge with this idol, we might be able to pull off a blindside on the opposite tribe.

Pohchoon: I think we should vote Priscilla instead.

Ruth: That's fine with me.

Pohchoon (confessionals): I don't really care if the idol is played tonight. As long as it's not me at the receiving end of votes, I am safe. Any thing after the merge can be discussed later.

Ruth (confessionals): Pohchoon wants me to vote Priscilla but I am still going to vote Waisin. I don't want him to gain too much power in this game.

Night 24

*Tribal Council*

*Zephyr tribe walking in and sitting down*

Yixuan: Now bringing in members of the jury, Siaun, voted out of the last tribal council.

*Siaun enters and takes a seat*

Yixuan: Welcome back to Tribal Council, Zephyr. It's been 2 straight tribal councils in a row. Tell me Ruth, what went wrong?

Ruth: I think it's because we have voted out the wrong people. I have been putting in my 100% in challenges but some others haven't been.

Yixuan: Hmm, Siying, do you think that you have put in your 100%?

Siying: Yes I have. I find that I am actually improving as the game progresses. I may have caused many blunders in the past but I have gone past that stage and actually am contributing to the tribe's success.

Yixuan: What about you Priscilla?

Priscilla: Like before, I am less physically active. But I have also helped in puzzles. I must say that I have also put in my best effort to help the tribe win.

Yixuan: Then who are you referring to Ruth?

Ruth: I find that Waisin hasn't been performing up to standard. He does bad at challenges and he is also not very helpful around camp.

Waisin: *shocked* Why are you saying that about me? I did give in my best in the challenges. It's just that my best is not enough.

Ruth: If you didn't drop out during reward, we could have won.

Waisin: Then why don't you look at Pohchoon and Siying who cost us the immunity challenge?

Yixuan: So we are back to the same issue, are you going to vote to keep the tribe strong? Or keep your alliance strong?

Pohchoon: I think ultimately, this is an individual game and you have to vote according to your own interests. At this point, it's very close to the merge and I would rather vote out strong players and keep my alliance strong. But hey, this is Survivor and if you can predict what happens next, it wouldn't be Survivor!

Priscilla: I would think the same. Why keep a strong competitor and dampen your chances of winning? And by strong, it could be physically strong, it could also be a manipulative player who plays the social game! So it's rather difficult to strike a balance and decide who to vote.

Yixuan: Baowen, are you worried sitting here tonight?

Baowen: I'm not worried because I know what's going to happen and I know I'm safe. I'm not the type of strong player mentioned by Priscilla nor Pohchoon.

Yixuan: Alright, we shall see how this goes. It's time to vote, Waisin, you are up.

*Waisin voted*

Waisin: This vote is purely to get rid of the last individual person standing on this tribe.

*Priscilla voted*

Priscilla: Too bad, plans have to be changed because circumstances changed. Now it's time for you to taste your own medicine.

Baowen: You were saved previously but I doubt you will be again. Once again, sorry for putting your name down.

Ruth: The reason for voting you have already been mentioned. Hopefully, my idol can send you packing.

Pohchoon: I hope that I can give you false hope and that you don't play your idol. Goodbye, but you are too strong and out of my control.

Siying: I cannot allow someone more manipulative than me linger around. It's both a threat to me and my alliance members. I hope that this can strengthen my alliance.

Yixuan: Alright, I will go tally the votes.

Yixuan: If anyone has the hidden immunity idol and wants to play it, now would be the time to do so.

*silence*

Ruth: In a matter of fact, I think I would be playing the idol. I'm having fixed feelings after tribal council and it would be stupid to be voted home with an idol in my pocket.

*hands over idol to Yixuan*

Siying: *thinking to herself* Good, the idol is flushed out. Hopefully Priscilla doesn't turn against me.

Yixuan: This is, indeed, the hidden immunity idol. Any votes casted against Ruth will not cast. Once the votes are read, the decision is final. Person voted out will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately. I will read the votes.

Ruth: *heaves a sign of relief*

Pohchoon: *stares in disbelief* I can't believe this. *walks over*

Yixuan: Pohchoon, your tribe has spoken. *extinguishes torch*

Pohchoon: You guys got me good.

Yixuan: Looks like this tribe never fails to have a blindside during every tribal council. Grab your stuff, head back to camp.

Pohchoon: Apparently, someone else knew about the idol and decided to split the votes. I am really disappointed at myself and those who split the votes, which I think is Baowen and Siying. However, I am proud of how I played the game and I never regretted the gameplay. But it's time for me to go!

Point to note: A full day home with my grandmother can drive me crazy.

Totally unproductive day today! Sat in front of the com and refreshed RFF the whole day and then watched KevJumba on Youtube. And of course Episode 9 is ready, scheduled to be posted on 6pm tomorrow evening! Aren't you guys excited?

I'm going to prepare 1-3 episodes (depending on how free I am) before I fly to US so I can schedule it for my fans out there when I'm not around! :D
